Chapter 342
Chapter 342
Luca’s POV
When Sofia had informed me about her having a brother, it had honestly taken me by surprise, and
when she had went ahead to tell me about him, I realized just how much she loved it. The bond she
shared with him before they had been separated by marriage had sounded so damn intense that I felt a
quite bad for her and this brother of hers.
“Why didn’t you ever talk about him?” I had asked some minutes after she had finished speaking.
“That’s because I thought you were not going to be alright with it, I thought –”
I shushed her by pressing a kiss against her lips. “Why would you ever think that?”
She shook her head a little. “I didn’t exactly think about it, it was just something that had been in my
mind before I had gotten married, so it had just been there since.”
She had finally responded.
And because of how much I saw how she genuinely loved her brother, me being the biggest simp of
Sofia right now, went ahead to ask my men to run a tab on her and to try finding out who her brother
was. When the results came in, I noticed that there was even some resemblance between them. I
wasn’t sure if I had ever seen him before, but I was very sure he must have attended her wedding.
Later that day, I arranged for a message to be sent to her father, that I was going to be needing his son
for some hours and that my men were going to come pick him up. I knew he wasn’t ever going to ask
me any questions because it wasn’t news that he was quite afraid of me.
Who wasn’t even afraid of me?
It was a Friday evening, exactly a day after we had returned from New York. Because I refused to
resume at the office until the coming Monday, I had more than enough time on my hand right now, and
so I caught up a little with my two friends, James and Travis.
When Travis had suggested we come hang out at his place the next following day’s evening, James
was quick to decline it, because he apparently have some plans.
“Does this particular plans involve getting wasted at a club and getting really fucked out with some
random chick?” Travis snorted out and I only laughed. James was very much single and was still into
the usual ways of getting wasted on a Saturday evening.
James only rolled his eyes but refused to say a thing, which wasn’t unusual of him in any way.

It was exactly a day after Luca had returned from New York, and I had decided to not yet resume bsck
to painting for now, until the coming Monday.
But some day before I had traveled out of the country with Luca, Kayla had suggested I create some
accounts on social media and post some of my arts there, in hopes of getting engagements and some
exposure.
I had been a little bit hesitant at first because I still wasn’t used to the thought of people seeing my
works, but Kayla had managed to convince me to do that after reassuring me that my painting was very
good.
And I had did as had adviced. But because of my anxiety, I had refused to check the accounts out
throughout my stay in New York. But now that I was back home, I knew I couldn’t put it off any longer, Material © NôvelDrama.Org.
and so here I am.
My mouth fell open soundlessly as I stared into the screen of my phone which had the front page of my
incomplete set up Instagram page, and I blinked a couple of times to confirm if I was seeing the
numbers of my followers count right.
I had over thirty thousand followers.
How is that possible? I wondered as I finally clicked on the piece of art which I had posted, and got
more shocked on realizing that it had generated over five hundred thousand likes and over five
thousand comments.
My heart was racing really fast and even though I was hastily scrolling through the comments, while
catching glimpse of people complimenting me and asking me where and how they could buy my
paintings, I was still silencing asking myself if I wasn’t halicunsting right now.
Before I realized it, tears began to slide down my cheeks as a wide smile spread out on my face, they
were definitely tears of joy.
Never have I ever felt this seen and actually appreciated in my life like I was feeling right now.
The next thing I did was to face time Kayla and break the news to her, and she kept on going about
how she was always right since she had been very sure everyone was going to fall in love with my arts.
She had went ahead to suggest how I should think about expanding my painting work into something
bigger than an indoor studio.
“Think about it, you hosting an art exhibit launch, and knowing how influential your husband is, you’re
going to earn so much from it, so much exposure, and of course, your own hard earned money.” Kayla
had said, and even after we had ended the call with warm similes, her words had kept on echoing
around in my head.

When Luca had informed me that night that Angelo was going to come see me in a few days, my joy
had knew no bounds and I had threw myself against him while sobbing happily and he had held my
close and kissed me until my toes curled. I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to actually thank him for what
he was about to grant me this way.
A chance to meet with my brother once again, to think I had never thought this was ever going to be
possible when I had been getting married off to Luca.
Oh, how wrong I had been.
