Chapter 15 Why Doesn’t She Just Drop Out?
Eileen was nothing but thankful that she cared enough about her studies. She would not have had the courage to just walk out of class like that otherwise.
She knew now that she was able to handle the entrance exams enough to get a barely decent grade. If she was to bear down and study hard, she might just make an average grade.
Eileen was decent at art subjects, but not so at science or math. NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.
The thing was that she did not have much time to catch up on those subjects. After school she had cooking classes and piano classes lined up…
Eileen sat in front of the window, running a hand through her hair frustratedly. No, she was just wasting time like this.
She pushed those thoughts away quickly enough, and got back to studying. The library was usually only frequented by people from the higher classes. Now that recess was over, there was no one in there aside from the librarian.
She was used to being alone, and enjoyed a setting like this.
Just then, someone walked out of the teacher’s office.
They spotted Eileen sitting at the library, and took a photo at once.
It was quickly sent to the school forum, under the photo from earlier.
Look, Eileen Swan’s hiding in the library.
Within a minute, someone had commented: D*mn, respect to Elm Smith! I can’t believe he just got her out of the way like that, I finally won’t have to see her in class anymore.
Ha, as if I bet you she’ll be back in less than two days.
That’s impossible.
Why?
Because… Elm threw her desk and chair out of the classroom, and the cleaning lady took them away.
There were a few photos after that, of Eileen’s textbooks being thrown in the trash. There seemed to be something covering the books as well. It looked like vomit.
Eileen was still oblivious to all of this.
She finished the papers and was about to head back, when she received a text on her phone. Eileen, please don’t come back to class right now.
Eileen stopped in her tracks, confused. What happened?
A reply came quickly enough. Look at the school forum.
An ominous feeling seeped into Eileen’s chest. She had never cared for school gossip, and it was her first time going on the forum.
She saw the posts of her books and desk in the trash.
The lunchbox in the drawer had rolled to a corner.
Sharon had bought the lunchbox for Eileen. Sharon had even sewed the bag holding it herself.
Eileen ran back to class…
A while later, someone stood out and shouted at the sight of an incoming figure. “She’s here… Eileen
Swan’s here…”
“It’s hilarious that she’s back here.”
“We’re in for a good show. She’s going to lose her mind.”
“She deserves it, for being so cocky all the time.”
Elm, who had been taking a nap, hurled a textbook in the direction of the voices. “Shut up, or I’ll kick you out too!”
The classroom fell silent at once.
Elm finally saw the person coming in through the door.
Everyone in class turned over to look. They were waiting for Eileen to lash out at Elm, and be taught a fierce lesson.
Eileen did enter the class, but she was not angry in the slightest. She did not pay Elm any mind as well, keeping calm as she walked to the trashcan. She picked up her lunchbox, dusting it off.
She opened it to see if the inside was alright, and screamed. The lunchbox clattered to the floor, at bloody rat rolling out of it.
Eileen’s face was pale with fear as she trembled.
The people in class took one look at the frightened expression on Eileen’s face, and burst out laughing.
Someone said, “I’m going to wet myself! God, look at her.”
Walsh had a book in her hands. She was worried for Eileen, but did not dare to say much as she pretended to read.
No one dared to mess with Elm, not even the principal.
Just then, the class teacher came in from outside. Elsie Field looked at Eileen strangely for a while, before looking away and opening the book on her table. “That’s enough. Are you bullying your
classmate again, you rascals? Finals are coming, and this is what you get up to? No wonder your grades.
are the worst in class.”
“What are you standing there for, Eileen? Get back to your seat, it’s time for class!”
Elsie picked up her phone, pretending to look at the time as she took a photo of the sight in front of her and sent it to a number with a black profile photo.
Eileen turned around silently, looking at the sexy, mature woman in front of her
Seeing Elsie after being reborn filled Eileen with a sense of disdain.
This woman was not just her class teacher, but would also become her stepmother. Elsie would become. the one woman that could marry into the Swan family.
On top of that, Elsie had endless relations to Eric as well. They were not exactly clear, but the pair seemed a little too friendly for sure!
How friendly, you might ask?
In the last life, Will had died less than three years after this woman had entered the family!
The doctors had not been able to find a cause of death.
Will’s death had been highly suspicious. Eileen remembered seeing Elsie coming out of Eric’s room on the day of Will’s funeral….
Eileen furrowed her brows at the thought.
Eric really was something else. He was capable of using any woman he wanted
