Chapter 73 Shameless Homewrecker
Rachel looked over, her expression darkened with rage as her eyes reflected Leah's slender silhouette. "Let's go. We need to catch up with her."
"Okay." Heather nodded, hurriedly following along with her other good friend.C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.
As Leah walked out of the restroom and into the corridor, she found Rachel and her group standing on the opposite side, glaring at her with menacing eyes. "What's up?" Leah asked, a hint of curiosity and suspicion evident in her tone.
She pondered, "I bet it's because I got close to Ethan earlier and had angered his admirer, Rachel. But one can't force love. Since things have gotten to this point, I might as well be firm and put an end to Rachel's hopes once and for all."
"Don't play dumb with me! You know exactly why I'm here," Rachel said as she approached Leah with a stern expression. "I'm warning you, stay away from Ethan, he's mine!"
Leah smiled faintly, but her expression didn't seem amused at all. "He's yours? Does he even know that? This sounds more like wishful thinking on your part."
Upon hearing this, Rachel's face instantly turned ashen before settling into a dark shade of anger.
"Who are you calling wishful thinking? Say that again, I dare you!" she shouted. Rachel's voice was sharp, and her fierce glare seemed as if she was capable of devouring Leah whole. Leah calmly met Rachel's fierce gaze, and her tone was calm and composed as she replied, "You know exactly who I was talking about. So, why bother asking me again?"
"You..." Rachel was left speechless by Leah's casual tone, her face flushed and her body trembling with anger.
Despite being infuriated to the core and wanting nothing more than to tear Leah apart, she couldn't utter a coherent retort.
"Rachel has had a crush on Mr. Ethan Wilson for a long time now. Do you have any idea how much
she
has given up and sacrificed for Mr. Ethan Wilson? Now, with you shamelessly pursuing Mr. Ethan Wilson, you are nothing but a shameless homewrecker
Heather's tone was filled with indignation as if Leah had committed an unforgivable sin.
Leah crossed her arms, calmly staring at Heather. "Oh, I actually have no idea of what you're saying. Why don't you tell me what she sacrificed and gave up for Ethan?"
She then paused momentarily before continuing, "However, as far as I know, she and Ethan have no real relationship. At most, she's a relentless pursuer. Given that, on what grounds are you calling me a homewrecker?"
This momentarily took Heather aback, and she could not respond to Leah's sharp retort.
Another of Rachel's friends chimed in discontentedly. "Rachel was born with a silver spoon, never having to lift a finger to do anything in her
whole life Yet, she was willing to et
learn to cook for Mr. Ethan Wilson, even if it meant getting her hands scarred. Aren't these sacrifices? What have you done for Mr. Ethan Wilson compared to that? How dare you snatch Mr. Ethan Wilson from Rachel? Who do you think you are?"
"Ha!" Leah let out a contemptuous chuckle. "All those things you mentioned are just her
self-indulgence, wishful thinking actions. Even her so-called affection is something she imposes on Ethan, never once caring if Ethan truly likes it or needs the sacrifices she makes."
Not just the girl who spoke was stunned. Even Rachel and Heather were stunned as well.
Rachel stood dumbfounded momentarily, and then a surge of anger filled her chest.
Then, she clenched her fists tightly and hurriedly charged toward Leah. "You wretch, I will teach you a lesson today!"
