Chapter 119
Yes, Aiden was not happy with Ruby. Even though he had marked her and made her the luna of the pack, he was not happy with her. He didn’t think he was going to be happy at all with how the whole thing unfolded before his eyes.
There was nothing going right for him and he felt like whatever he did, everything would only go south.
“Why don’t you let her go then?” Gabriel couldn’t understand him. As the alpha and his best friend, he tried his hardest not to judge the stu pid decision that Aide had made in the past to cross path with Ruby, but it was hard not to do so. “You lost Lilac because you chose her.”
“I didn’t choose her,” Aiden corrected him. “I didn’t choose her, it was Lilac, who didn’t want to forgive me.”
Gabriel wanted to say that he would never forgive his mate either if he found out she was with someone else, but he swallowed the word and then tried to understand him more, since he looked so down.
“Then why don’t you let her go? You only make her life miserable by keeping her here. and let your mother handled everything. You know that Ruby can’t get along well with the previous luna.” Gabriel pointed out the obvious.
“That’s her fault for not being able to get along with my mother. Lilac could do it with ease, she always met her expectation. Why she couldn’t do the same thing?” Aiden scoffed. He couldn’t help, but compare Ruby with Lilac over and over again, especially when the two of them were not the same page and didn’t get along and it happen pretty often.
Gabriel sighed deeply, he scratched the back of his head. “You look like you hate her, you know. Correct me if I am wrong with this assumption.”
“I don’t think you are wrong…” Aiden replied. “Maybe I really hated her.” He couldn’t
for sure about this feeling. He hated her, but she couldn’t let her go.
say
“If you really hated her, let her go, because it will only hurt the two of you. Why would you want to be hurt, though…”
“Because if I am not with her, I lost Lilac for nothing.” After all, it was because of Ruby that he lost Lilac, therefore, if he had lost Ruby too, it meant, he didn’t get anything out of it and his pain was useless.
When they walked in the corridor, the two of them met with Grace. She looked like she had been waiting for Aiden, because there was something important she wanted to talk about.

O Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
“Leave us alone,” Grace said to Gabriel firmly, her order sounded like she was the luna of the pack, but of course, because she was not, her voice lacked of power.
Gabriel crossed his arms instead, waiting for the order from the alpha before he really walked away, he intentionally smirked disdainfully at this woman.
The beta couldn’t understand why the alpha took a high risk to shelter this woman in their pack when they knew she wouldn’t bring any benefit for them, if anything, she would only bring trouble, because
she kept demanding for Aiden to find a way to free her father, who was being trapped under the dungeon of the lycan pack.
“Congratulation for your baby,” Grace said without an ounce of happiness at all. She didn’t even try to be more genuine when she faked her smile.
“I am not in a good mood, tell me what you want and then scram.” Grace was the last person he wanted to see. He wanted to talk about inviting the lycan pack with his mother. He didn’t want them to come, especially when he had to hand over the necklace that Hunter demanded.
Talking about the necklace…
There was more problem that he had talked about with his mother. It was about the necklace, he had not yet told her anything about this and he knew it wouldn’t be a pretty conversation at all, knowing how much his mother cherished the necklace of hers.
“I want to demand you for what you promised me.” Grace started, she crossed her arms. and this gesture only pis sed Aiden off. He didn’t like to be told what to do.
“Your father didn’t manage to kill him and he is still alive right now. There is still plenty of time.” Aiden actually had not yet thought about how to get Kellan out of the dungeon. His mind was still occupied with something else.
“What plenty of time?!” Grace snapped. “What if he changed his mind and decided to kill him?! Can you guarantee something like that will never happened?!”
Aiden was in foul mood to begin with, thus to hear Grace shouted at him really didn’t sit well with him. “Can you shut your mouth?! Find out about the other pack of the lycan and I will dedicate my precious
time to get your father’s as s out of that da mn dungeon!” Aiden barked at Grace, who flinched because it was very scary to be told off.
However, Grace regained her composure pretty quickly, as she barked back at Aiden. “I told
you that only father knew about this! Are you stu pid or what?!”
Aiden raised his hand and was about to slap Grace for badmouthing him, but then he stopped himself in time before he did something that he would regret it. After all, he still needed this crazy woman.

“Hunter will be here within a week from now, you better not to make appearance and tell your mother to not to roam around the pack house, the less people recognize you the better.” Aiden then walked away from her.
“Aiden, you need to make sure to get my father out of the dungeon, don’t even try to do something funny.” She glared at his back, but the alpha kept walking away, ignoring her completely
