Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 1057

"What exactly did Theodore say to you? Did you believe him?" Sebastian questioned.

Rosalie suddenly chuckled. "Sebastian. Every time something happens, I always stand by your side. But how have you treated me in return?"

"Don't believe Theodore!" Sebastian exclaimed, rushing forward to grab her shoulders. "Whatever he said to you is a lie. He's trying to slander me! If you believe him-"

"I believe the evidence!" Rosalie forcefully pushed him away. "I've seen the video."

Sebastian's face was filled with shock. He clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles cracked audibly.

Damn that Theodore was he really that impatient?

Sebastian never should have left Rosalie in Melrine, but at the time, his primary concern had been avoiding arrest by the police. He had fled in haste without thinking things through.

"Sebastian, why did you lie to me? Why do you always pin the blame on Theodore? And now you've given me such a big shock, revealing your true self. How could you do something like that? It's terrifying! Have you been pretending and lying to me all this time?" Rosalie demanded.

Sebastian's eyes were filled with disbelief. "Rose, I didn't lie to you."

"You didn't lie to me? Then why is that what you said is completely different from what you did? You told me those armed bodyguards were there to protect you, but why did I see you ordering them to point their guns at Theodore and Aurora? Why were you threatening him? Your actions don't match your words at all!"

Rosalie was both angry and heartbroken. She had been holding it all in for the past three months.

After all, Sebastian was in Blencalgo with Steve. Every evening when they had video calls for her to see Steve, she hadn't dared to bring it up. Now that she was finally back in the country, she had to confront Sebastian about it.Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

was no point in trying to explain. It was all Theodore's fault! That man had secretly installed a pinhole camera. If not for Aurora warning him, prompting him to return to Blencalgo in time, he would already be in a Melrine prison.

Just as he thought he had resolved everything, Rosalie was now confronting him. It was like pouring salt on an open wound.

"I'm sorry, Rose. I admit it. I did those things that you saw," he said.

Rosalie gave a bitter smile.

"So, you finally admit it. Why didn't you admit it from the beginning? You lied because you were certain Theodore had no evidence, didn't you? You thought you had destroyed all the surveillance cameras. If it weren't for him installing that pinhole camera, I would never have known you were capable of something like this."

She wiped the tears from her face.

"Sebastian, the person you've shown yourself to truly shocked me. Our marriage was never real from the start. I've always been ready for divorce.

"But later, after everything that

happened, I considered trying to make things work with you. Now, though, I can't live with someone like you. I'm afraid of you. Although promised you I wouldn't bring up | divorce again, I'm sorry-I have to break that promise. Sebastian, let's get a divorce. I'm taking Steve with me."

She didn't want to say anything more. All she wanted now was to leave with Steve and get as far away from Sebastian as possible.

Their marriage had never been real to begin with. One thing had led to another until they reached this point.

She even began to wonder if all of it had been a calculated plan.
