Chapter 385 It's Not Like I Haven't Touched You Before
Bella took several deep breaths before deciding to ignore Dominic. She lay down, deliberately turning her back on him. She didn't want to see his face as he was unreasonable. However, his hand stretched around her waist and came to rest freely on her abdomen.
She hadn't even felt the first fetal movement yet, so what did he expect? His move of encircling her in an embrace from behind brought them so near that she could no longer ignore him.
She wasn't sure how long it had been, but as she fell asleep, she noticed him carefully getting out of bed and leaving the room. Then, she faintly heard him on the phone, most likely speaking with the man who phoned during their meal.
For Dominic to return the call at this hour showed that he put the child first. Bella couldn't help but think how lucky his future wife would be because he would be a good husband and father. Too bad she wasn't the one destined to be with him... During this time of nurturing her pregnancy, her routine became very regular. She went to bed early and woke up early.
When she opened her eyes the following day, Dominic was still asleep next to her. As she shifted slightly, she realized that his hand had crept under her shirt overnight and was shamelessly resting on her chest.
She swatted his hand away with annoyance, and he opened his eyes to look at her. Upon seeing the irritated expression on her face, he joked and said, "It's not like I've never touched them before. I think they've become a little larger." After hearing his words, Bella believed that all men were the same.
Perhaps uncomfortable with her stare, Dominic drew in closer, put his arms around her, and buried his face in her neck. "I haven't slept so well in a long time. Stay with me a little longer."
His words calmed her heart, and she instinctively let him hold her. She wondered what he had been up to that he didn't even have time for proper rest.
Suddenly, she felt his lips on her earlobe, the warm sensation startling her. Her body stiffened.
Bella's immediate instinct was to struggle, but he grabbed her too tightly. He was careful to avoid her belly, so she couldn't struggle much and could only softly plead, "Don't..."

His voice was raspy and filled with yearning. "The doctor said it's okay."
Her emotions were in turmoil, but her mind remained clear. "But we can't."
Dominic suddenly flipped her over and pinned her down. Their
foreheads touched, and their net
met. At such a close distance, she
had nowhere to hide.
His piercing gaze blazed with a sensual heat, leaving her mind blank. And when he kissed her, she didn't even think to avoid it.
At this moment, there was a knock on the bedroom door, and Cara's voice called from outside, "Mr. Miller, Mrs. Miller, breakfast is ready."
Bella was snapped back to reality and quickly slid out from under him, hastily straightening her clothes. "Coming!"
Dominic sat up in bed, visibly frustrated. "How are you still so agile with that belly?"
She glared at him before opening the door and telling Cara, "Don't address me as Mrs. Miller. I'm not married yet. Just address me as previously." Cara looked at Dominic, who nodded in accord.
After breakfast, he gave Cara a few instructions before leaving.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
As she cleared up the table, she couldn't help but sigh. "Ms. Jones, Mr. Milleris truly the perfect man. He's attractive, comes from a good family background, and most importantly, he treats you well."
