Fated For Lycan's Luna

Chapter 133

Chapter 133

Blake's POV

Five years have gone by, and a lot has changed. Some of the changes were painful, and I wish they

hadn't happened. But there were also good things that made life easier.

I looked at a young boy who was holding onto my legs. He was just two years old, with dark wavy hair

and big bright eyes, looking a lot like me. He seemed to be my son, even though I might appear stern

at times, a smile couldn't help but creep onto my face.

"What are you doing here, Arlan?" I asked the little boy, who was smiling and giggling.

"I came to play!" he said, wanting me to lift him up. I couldn't resist and carried him in my arms.

"It's still morning, why do you want to play already?" I teased him, and he pouted in response.

"Oh? Don't tell me you ran away from your mother?" I continued to tease him. The little boy's pout

turned deeper as he looked at me with puppy eyes. My heart almost melted, but I ignored it and told

him with a strict voice, "So you did." "Why don't you go back to your mother? You can visit me again

after dinner, I will walk with you outside," I told him.

The little boy's teary eyes immediately sparkled as he shouted, "Okway!!" "It's a pwomise!" He added

before gettig on his feet. Then, without looking around, his little short legs ran out of the office, leaving

me and the stone-like Arthur inside. "Arlan…..!!!!" Arthur's strict facade changed and a helpless

expression appeared on his face.

Unfortunately, despite calling at the boy loudly, Arlan simply ignored Arthur. Soon, Arthur sat back on

the sofa, looking defeated. I raised a brow at him.

Although his attitude towards me changed into a subservient one, whenever Arlan was involved, Arthur

always reverted back to how he usually was. However, it was only for a fleeting moment.

As he felt my eyes on him, Arthur immediately straightened his back before telling me, "Ah, I apologize.

Where was I?" He massaged his forehead.

"I was telling you how Chloe must have cut me off her life, as if she doesn’t want me to know that she

was still alive," I told him impassively.

"You were feeling awkward, then Arlan arrived and ruined the moment," I simply added. Arthur flinched,

a guilty feeling appearing on his face. Then, he sighed, "I… wasn't doing that…" He said before

clearing his throat. After hesitating for a few seconds, he finally asked, "Then, should we continue

looking for her?"

I lowered my eyes upon hearing his question. In fact, Arthur's question shot me straight to the heart. All content is © N0velDrama.Org.

After all, one of the reasons why the pack was looking for Chloe was to ensure that she was safe. But

now I revealed that I knew she was alive and well.

Should we still continue looking for someone who doesn't want to be found?

Should I still look for someone who clearly cut me off her life? I sat on the chair, a deadpan expression

on my face. No one could ever understand the turbulent emotions I have inside. It was only after a few

seconds when I answered Arthur's question. "Yes, continue looking for her." My order was clear. But if I

would be asked what was my reason why, I wouldn’t be able to say anything except for one reason...

Despite everything that happened, I still... couldn’t let Chloe go.

Arthur observed me for a while, his expression turning more serious. Arthur observed me silently, his

expression becoming more serious. He nodded and then stood up, saying, "I will instruct the spies to

continue their efforts."

When he was about to reach the door, Arthur suddenly stopped. He hesitated for a second before

turning around and telling me, “This is one of the information that our spies gathered. I didn’t tell you

this at first because I thought there would be no way that Chloe would be involved in this...”

“Oh?” I raised a brow at Arthur. What intriguing words... somehow it made me feel nervous.

Arthur didn’t waste time and explained, “Around one thousand kilometers in the north, at a suburb, our

spies heard this story.”

“According to the human locals, in the past few years, a few strange people started to appear in their

area. They did not have residential address and their interactions with the locals were scarce. The

locals think they live in the woods. And whenever they were sighted, they were always in group of two

or three. But the thing that made the locals talk about them were their appearances.”

“The human locals described them as tall and beautiful, and all of them possessed extraordinary aura

with distinct eye colors,” Arthur continued. “If we just based on their descriptions, it seemed that a new

pack has emerged in their area.”

“Blake, if Chloe is alive and even shifted, could it be that she is a part of this new group? If she

managed to escape with some of the survivors of the Red Moon Pack, could it be that they started a

new pack together?”

I froze for a moment. Arthur’s explanation made sense. Could it really be that case?

Suddenly, the door of the office was opened. It was Carrie who was a little panting and had a serious

look on her face. It was clear that she ran towards the office.

“Blake... Arthur... the two of you are here...” She said in between pants. “Something important

happened...”

What could happen that made Carrie panic like this? A cold glint appeared in my eyes. “Explain,” I

ordered.

“I just received a report. The second base of the Blood Hound Pack was attacked last night, and they

managed to kill Alpha Kain’s right hand man!”

I opened my lips to say something but ended up closing them again. Instead, I looked at Carrie,

intending for her to finish her report.

“It was an assassination work. Last night, a small group of assassins infiltrated the base and

successfully conducted the assassination. As of now, there is no information who did it,” Carrie

explained. “But all the other packs refused that it was their doing. So they are saying, that it is a work of

a new pack, or a secret group that has recently emerge from the survivors of the Blood Hound’s

tyranny.”

The door that had just been closed suddenly opened again, and a tiny head popped out. It was Arlan,

the little boy, looking at the three of us with sparkling eyes. As he appeared, the tense atmosphere in

the room seemed to ease, especially when he reached out his arms towards Carrie and called out,

"Mama!"

Carrie laughed and picked up her son in her arms. "What are you doing here, Arlan? Are you looking

for Mama?" Arlan giggled and then pointed at me, saying, "Dada!"

Carrie and Arthur were taken aback by Arlan's words. Carrie burst into laughter while Arthur looked

awkward. "Baby, that's your uncle... un... cle...!" Carrie tried to explain, pointing at me and calling me

Dada. But the determined little guy just glanced at Arthur briefly before turning back to me, insisting,

"Dada!"
