Chapter 65
Third person narrative
Jasmine and her mates arrived home from their trip. She didn’t want to leave, as she was enjoying her time with the brothers, but they had to return home.
She was happy that they got to go on a trip alone, because it helped them bond, and she was able to get them to mate with her.
The brothers got their stuff out of the car, and Mia rushed out of the house, happy to see her best friend.
She hugged Jasmine close to her, a bright smile on her face.
“I missed you, Jasmine,” she said, and Jasmine smiled.
“Me too. How did you even manage to survive without me?” Jasmine joked as she pulled away from Mia who playfully glared at her.
“How was your trip?”
“It was nice, a lot of interesting things happened,” Jasmine smiled.
“Really? Why don’t we go upstairs, and you’ll tell me all about it,” Mia said, pulling Jasmine behind her as she made her way to the front door.Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.
“What about my stuff?” Jasmine asked, stopping Mia from moving any further.
“Don’t worry, the boys will take care of it,” she said to Jasmine. “Right, boys?” She asked her brothers who looked back at her with glares.
“You didn’t even welcome us, now you’re taking our mate away and ordering us around,” Zane said, placing his hands on his h**s.
“You were going to do it anyway, so don’t let me bother you. Keep up the good work,” Mia said, finally dragging a laughing Jasmine away.
Mia took Jasmine up to her room because she knew if they went to Jasmine’s room, her brothers would disturb them.
“So, tell me all about your trip,” Mia said, as Jasmine made herself comfortable on the bed.
“I can’t even begin to explain how magical it all felt. At first, I didn’t know how to feel about being all alone with them, but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. They did everything they could to make me happy and comfortable. They even decorated a section of the beach where we had a picnic and then played in the water,”
Jasmine explained everything that happened during the trip to Mia with bright happy eyes. Mia listened attentively, feeling happy that her best friend got to have the time of her life.
Mia’s eyes happened to wander to Jasmine’s neck, where she noticed a scar that looked like two hickeys. She frowned, as she moved closer to study it before realizing what it was.
“How did that happen?” Mia asked, her eyes wide with shock, her finger pointing to Jasmine’s neck.
“What?” Jasmine asked, placing her hand on her neck, before quickly realizing what Mia was talking about.
Her face flushed, as memories of that night came rushing back.
“Well, it just kind of happened, I guess,” Jasmine shrugged. “They took me out on a date to a certain restaurant, and a guy happened to approach me to flirt with me. Your brothers squared up to him claiming to be my mates, and he eventually left, but not without saying that as long as I wasn’t marked, I didn’t belong to anyone. I couldn’t get what he said out of my head, so I asked your brothers to mark me, and they agreed at first but later changed their mind that they would mark me during the mating ceremony, this is only a hickey.” Jasmine said.
“Wow, that happened way quicker than I thought it would,” Mia said in awe.
“We’ve spoken about it, I want to spend the rest of my life with them, and they want the same, so we’re thinking of holding our mating ceremony soon,” Jasmine explained.
“What? Isn’t that too quick? Don’t you think you’re rushing things? You guys are still young, you have a lot of things ahead of you. Isn’t it too early?”
Jasmine sighed before answering her. “I have thought of that. But, this is something that I want to do. Your brothers make me so happy, so it would be a pity if we waste any more time,”
Mia nodded her head, accepting her best friend’s decision. As long as Jasmine was happy, she was going to be happy with her.
Later in the day, they were called down for dinner. Jasmine’s parents were present too, and it was arranged as a welcome gesture for Jasmine and her mates.
They all sat at the table, eating and talking happily while sharing stories. Jasmine looked at her mates and nodded her head. They had decided that they would inform both their parents of their decision immediately after they returned home.
“Um… I have something to announce,” she started, her voice low, but firm.
She was feeling shy, but she didn’t let it show.
“While on the trip, I asked to be marked by my mates, but they said they would rather do it the proper way, so we’re thinking of holding our mating ceremony as soon as possible,” Jasmine explained.
The whole table was silent after they heard what she said. Jasmine didn’t know how to feel, because she also expected them to have the same worries as Mia.
After a few seconds of silence, her confidence started to deplete, as she looked at her mates, who looked back at her, their strong expressions, never faltering.
“Wow,” Jasmine’s mom said. “I never expected this to happen so soon,”
Jasmine looked at her mom, waiting for the next thing she was going to say.
“I’m so happy you were able to make such a tough decision on your own. I’m proud of you, and I’m very happy with your decision,”
A smile spread across Jasmine and her mate’s faces as they heard this.
“I’m so proud of you boys for going after what you want. Some might think it’s too early, but as long as you’re sure, and you know what you’re doing, your father and I are ready to support you no matter what,” Gina smiled.
Jasmine’s mates who were on either side of her held onto her hands, squeezing them in comfort. They had succeeded in making their intentions known, and their parents were in support.
“Just let us know when you decide on the date, and what you need, okay?” Gina said to Jasmine and she smiled and nodded her head.
No one noticed that Mia had gone quiet since the discussion about the mating ceremony started. She just looked down at her plate, playing with her food. She seemed down.
“I’m so happy. My boys are finally getting mated. It’s like a dream come true,” Gina gushed. “I can’t wait to see my grandkids,”
“Mom!” the three brothers shouted at the same time. “Too soon!”
They all burst out laughing. The air was light, and they were happy, making jokes and laughing.
“You will have a lot of responsibilities after the mating ceremony,” Denver stated.
“We sure hope you’re ready for them?” Derrick added.
“Yes, dads. We’ve thought about that, and we’re ready to do what it takes as long as we can make Jasmine happy,” Ethan said on behalf of his brothers.
Those words brought smiles to the parents’ faces. Jasmine’s, seeing that their daughter was in good hands, and the boys’ seeing their sons all grown up and mature.
“Because I’m feeling happy, your father and I will help with the planning of the whole event,” Jasmine’s mom said.
Jasmine turned to her parents who were smiling back at her, grateful for their support.
“I’ll be looking forward to that,”
