Let's Start All Over Again, Shall We (Maggie and Nathaniel)

Chapter 337

Chapter 337 Vibrant Places

Madam Cameron grew anxious and wanted to say something more, but Nathael didn’t give her a chance. He spoke in a deep voice. Furthermore, the 150 million has been transferred in the form of a trust fund. If you need to withdraw it, you’ll need to deal with the manager in advance.”

With just one sentence. Nathael once again left Madam Cameron and her group pale–faced.

Ronald, especially, found it hard to stay calm this time. He couldn’t help but ask, “So, Mr. Harris, do you. mean that this money can’t be used?”

Maggie played her part in the drama too, asking, “Can the money be withdrawn?”

“Of course, it can, but it requires prior arrangement with the manager,” Nathael replied in a serious tone. What he didn’t say was that he had actually dispersed this money into Maggie’s fund account.

Each sum was managed by different managers, ranging from 75 thousand to 450 thousand, used for

various investments.

To withdraw the money, at least three months‘ advance booking was needed, and after successful booking. all procedures would take half a month to a month.

The Camerons hoped to get their hands on this money to solve their urgent needs, but it wouldn’t be that

easy.

Ronald frowned, not fully understanding this aspect, but hearing that the money could be withdrawn, he felt slightly relieved. He turned to Nathael and asked, “How far in advance do we need to apply for it?”

Nathael replied gently, “Around one to three months in advance.”

Ronald didn’t grasp all the intricacies involved, but he felt that even for normal expenses, sometimes it required prior notice, so seeing Nathael transfer the money into Maggie’s account in the form of a fund, though troublesome, was something he could reluctantly accept.

Finally, the faces of the Cameron family showed a bit of relief, and after Maggie and Nathael placated them a bit more, they left together.

After they left, the atmosphere at the Camerons‘ grew heavy. Master Cameron couldn’t help but worry. “Ronald, are you sure we’ll get that money?”

Madam Cameron chimed in, “We haven’t seen the money yet, but we keep giving more and more to Maggie. Our family can’t bear to do this anymore.”

“I think we should have Maggie try to get some benefits from the Adams. What projects do the Adams have now? Tell her to try to snatch them away,” Noah suggested in a low voice.

Ronald’s gaze grew thoughtful as he said slowly, “I still can’t figure out Nathael’s intentions, but it seems like he wants to boost Maggie’s position in both the Adams and the Camerons.”

Master Cameron pondered for a moment before saying, “It’s normal for him to think like that. After all,

However, if all goes well, it should work out with some effort.”

Olivia couldn’t help but speak up. “But we’ve given away so much already. What if we can’t get this money in the end?”

Ronald’s gaze flickered as he said in a deep voice, Don’t worry. I have a plan. I’ll make sure she uses this money for our family.”

On the other hand, after Maggie and Nathael left, Nathacl explained the intricacies of the money to her, putting her mind at ease.

Just as she thought, Nathael wasn’t foolish enough to actually give away the money to the Camerons.

“Why stir up trouble out of nowhere?” Maggie couldn’t help but ask.

Nathael lowered his gaze and replied, “Ronald has started to suspect you, so he wants to get as many benefits as possible before things come to a head.”

Maggie was stunned for a few seconds before she couldn’t help but say, “He’s investigating me?”

Nathael nodded. “Yes, very discreetly, but there are always clues when someone investigates.”

Hearing this, Maggie didn’t say anything, but her thoughts grew heavier. Ronald had tested her several times already. If it weren’t for Nathael throwing out such a big bait this time, the Camerons probably wouldn’t have given an inch.

But whether they found anything or not, Maggie didn’t really care. The Camerons were in bad shape now, and she would withdraw sooner or later.

But the deaths of Lucas’s parents years ago still hadn’t been solved, and she still had no clue about the Camerons‘ plans against the Adams. Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.

After she was lost in thought for a while, Alex’s car pulled over at a bustling alley entrance in Aquapolis.

The alley was filled with a lively commercial strip, with shops and stalls of various sizes on either side. What made this street unique was the abundance of food stalls and small shops, giving it a vibe similar to both a food street and a night market.

Maggie suggested this spot because she couldn’t decide what to eat and thought of this place.

There were lots of snacks and different choices here, making it easy to explore and shop around.

Holding Nathael’s hand, Maggie felt excitement as she observed the busy scene ahead.

For some reason, she suddenly found herself drawn to these vibrant places.

The alley stretched on, brightly illuminated with LED screens showcasing the latest ads. The beautiful buildings and structures created a distinctive skyline.

Down on the street, shops and stalls were a bit disorganized, crowded with people. The sounds of shouts, music, and conversations merged together, painting a picture of the city’s hustle and bustle.

With the crowd around. Nathael made sure Maggie staved safe, keeping her from being pushed around.

“What are you in the mood for?” Maggie couldn’t resist asking, her eyes shining.

Nathael took a moment to survey the food options around him, most of which he hadn’t tried before.

“How about hand–pulled noodles?” Nathael suggested tentatively, showing no signs of annoyance. He actually enjoyed trying new things with her.

Following his gaze, Maggie spotted a noodle shop with tables set up outside. A small flag waved in the breeze, bearing the words “Hand–Pulled Noodles” in bold letters.

Near the entrance, there was a stone machine operated by someone pressing down on a handle, pushing noodles out from the other end.

Once enough noodles were made, another person, dressed like a chef, would take them and skillfully stretch them out for everyone to see.

A crowd had gathered around the stall, watching the lively performance. The chef stood a bit taller, allowing Maggie to see how expertly he stretched the noodles into various shapes, truly captivating the audience.

“I’ll grab some wings from the place nearby and have the noodles there. I want to give it a try too,” Maggie said, her excitement growing.

However, when they got closer, they found that the seemingly ordinary shop had a long line of dozens of people waiting outside. It would likely take them at least an hour, if not longer, to get a table.
