Lord Death Is Now Back Home by Chris

Chapter 40

Chapter 40

Susan dared not to say that Chris was just some comrade with Lord Death.

The Collins would be done playing up to her if she said the truth.

Susan was getting quite cocky being nursed by the family since the banquet.

The Collins looked at each other when they heard Susan's words.

They weren't one hundred percent sure about Susan's words.

They knew what Susan was like.

Michael then looked at John and asked, "John, tell me. Is Chris Lord Death?"

"Chris …"

Before John could even finish his sentence, Susan glared at him.

John got alarmed and didn't continue.

Alas.

Michael heaved a sigh, "Actually, it doesn't matter if Chris is Lord Death or not. At the end of the day,

we are a family. But still, I'm your father-in-law. Are you really not going to tell me the truth?"

John clenched his teeth and answered, "Actually, Chris is not Lord Death. They are just comrades…"

"John, what are you talking about? Shut the fuck up!"

Susan immediately jumped up when she heard John's answer.

What?

Comrades?

The Collins just froze.

They then came around in a minute.

Laurence got the peeled banana and was about to give it to Susan, but he then immediately put it in his

mouth.

"Susan! I'm your brother! You can't lie to me! If Chris is not Lord Death, why didn't you tell me? I got this

fruit for you in the morning! And you even want cherries? You wish!"

The rest of the family then just got the fruit plate on the table away.

Loretta's face darkened and sat on the couch cross-legged.

"Auntie Susan, forgive me for saying this, but you can't fool us around like that. You are my aunt. How

can you lie to me so that I will give you a massage? Do you have any dignity or not?"

She wouldn't butter up Susan if it wasn't that they thought Chris was Lord Death.

"Susan! You are all liars! Your whole family! You are fooling us! It's no wonder you are all losers!"

Michael stood up and was enraged.

The Collins sure changed their faces quickly.

"Dad, I …"

Susan forced a laugh.

"Get the hell out!"

Before Susan could even finish her words, Michael yelled.

"That's right. Susan. I'm so disappointed. Get out or you will be kicked out!"

"It's all your fault that I almost got divorced from Alfred! Don't you ever dare to walk in this door again!"

Laurence and Loretta felt humiliated when they found out they were fooled.

"How can you do this to me? You weren't like this …"

Susan was dumbfounded when the Collins changed so quickly.

"That is because you lied to us! Are you getting out or not?"

Michael shouted in anger.

A dozen of bodyguards then walked in.

Michael pointed at Susan and John, "Get these two losers out!"

"Got it!"

The bodyguards then charged at Susan and John. Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

Susan screamed, "I'm going nowhere! Dad! I'm your daughter! How can you do this to me!"

Michael groaned and remained indifferent.
