Then she picked up her bag and walked towards the Fantasy building. This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.
John and Minh hurriedly followed.
Christian looked through the window at her back as she slowly disappeared into the distance. After a
long while, he finally spoke, "Drive the car."
Steven ahead asked respectfully, "Mr.Miller, where are we going now?"
Their trip to London was temporary, with no travel arrangements at all. Originally, it had been a one-
week business trip, but with his working overtime, he ended the trip three days ahead of the schedule,
and then directly flew to London.
He was a little curious yesterday, but when he saw Miss Jones just now, he suddenly understood.
Christian closed his eyes for a long time before speaking. His voice was low and cold. "Just drive your
car."
"Oh, oh okay…"
Looking at the high building, Isabella heaved a sigh of relief.
As expected of a top 50 enterprise, it was not something an ordinary person could easily get a job
there.
The three of them went to the service hall on the first floor and walked to the front desk. Isabella
handed over her business card and smiled, "Hello, we are from Benton Technology and we wish to
meet with Mr. Simons."
After confirming her information, the receptionist revealed a professional smile and nodded, "Do you
have an appointment?"
"Nope."
The receptionist then said apologetically, "I'm sorry, other than the appointment, Mr. Simons doesn't
see anyone."
Hearing this, Isabella turned around and looked at John and Minh. The three of them were not
surprised at all by this result.
Isabella pursed her lips again, and looked at the receptionist with a faint smile, "We came here to
discuss our cooperation. If he is very busy, can you help us contact the person in charge of the
Marketing?"
However, the receptionist hesitated for a moment, then explained, "I'm sorry Miss Jones, if you didn't
make an appointment in advance, you can't see any high executive now. Please forgive us, even if I
called them, they would have rejected directly."
Isabella bit her lower lip, contemplated for a moment, then nodded with a smile, "I understand. Thank
you."
She didn't want to waste time anymore. She then headed to the resting area of the hall.
The three of them sat down on the sofa.
Isabella looked at the elevator and the receptionist at distance, asking, "What do you two think?"
Minh leaned back his body and said lazily, "There must be something big wrong with the company, so
they do not have time to receive clients like us. If we were people from the Polygon Group, they would
have invited us in immediately."
Isabella raised her eyebrow and looked at him unexpectedly, then smiled, "And more?"
As expected, she didn't bring this brat here for nothing.
"It's fine if Shawn doesn't show up, but if they aren't even assigned as any executive to us, then it's
obvious that they are deliberately delaying time by adopting a strategy of not receiving any clients, not
refusing them, and not being certain. Many small client companies like us are not willing to give up, so
they could only wait without knowing the result."
John frowned, "Isn't this going too far?"
Minh smacked his lips and said slowly, "This is the most common psychological strategy in this
industry. They didn't ask you to wait, but it's you that doesn't want to give up so easily instead."
Isabella's pretty face did not reveal any of the emotions. She only looked at Minh with a deeper gaze.
John thought for a while, then looked at Isabella, "Miss Jones, what do we do next? We can't just sit
here forever, right? "
Isabella's expression turned unfathomable. She stroked her chin and squinted her eyes, "I'm just a little
curious that what has happened to them recently which could cause such a tense atmosphere. After
understanding everything, we have to consider whether or not we should continue cooperating with
them."
Minh's thoughts were exactly what hers. Shawn was a very scheming person. Who knew if things
would go smoothly after they really cooperated.
John scratched his head, and was a little worried, "But how can we find out? We can't even get in
there."
Isabella frowned and thought for a while, then suddenly looked Minh. Her white face slowly revealed a
strange smile, "It's time to use our brain."
A few minutes later, Minh led John to the front desk and chat with the receptionists. As he came and
asked questions, the two girls became flirtatious.
Minh and John had a young and handsome face. Today they were in suits and had a refined
temperament. John was a little stiff, but Minh was open-minded. As he started talking, he attracted all
the attention of the receptionist girls.
Isabella shook her head and sighed as she took the chance to quickly walk towards the elevator.
However, she didn't have an entry card to press the floor button, so she waited until someone else got
in.
When the elevator door closed, she let out a long breath and covered her nervous heart with her hand.
After randomly pressing a button on a floor, she pulled off her clothes and casually walk out.
It was probably because of the professional attire that no one paid attention to her as she walked past.
But at this moment, she was very nervous, cold sweat dripping down her back.
She tried her best not to be found out.
However, compared to the people in a hurry around her, she seemed to be just strolling around. After
walking a few steps, she was noticed by someone.
The person looked like a manager. He pointed at her and quickly asked, "Which department are you
from?"
"I …"
Without waiting for her to finish, he quickly ordered, "Room 1202 requires six cups of coffee. Send
them over immediately. Hurry!"
Isabella was startled. Before she could open her mouth and say something, the man had already
walked away.
She blinked...Coffee?
What coffee? Hot or warm, sugar or no sugar?
A few minutes later, she tapped on the door with six cups of coffee.
"Come in."
Hearing the sound coming from inside, she took a deep breath and carefully opened the door.
It was a small meeting room where six or seven people were currently having a meeting.
She only glanced at it once before lowering her head and obediently placing the cups of coffee in front
of everyone. She then took the tray and quietly left.
Before she could step back to the door, a different voice suddenly sounded from the conference table,
followed by the other voices that quieted down as they all looked over.
"Who made this coffee?"
Isabella was startled, then her eyes flashed as she hurriedly stepped forward, "Oh, it's me."
The woman slammed the coffee cup on the table, raised her long, dark eyebrows, and looked at her
coldly. "What is this? I only drink Italian, no sugar. Don't you have a brain? "
"Which department are you from? You can't even do this well. " She asked.
Isabella hurriedly apologised, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry…I'm new here, and I'm not too familiar with it. I'll
change it to another cup for you."
