Love’s Final Reveal

Chapter 74

Dominick glanced at the purple potted gardenia on the table, his face showing a doting smile.

“Lola is here, so of course I’m here too.

“If anyone dares to bully her, I can protect her even faster.”

Ethan widened his eyes slightly. He knew very well that relocation would take a lot of time for such a large corporation, and transferring the company’s core would be very troublesome.

“For Layla, you don’t care about the losses to your company?”

For such a large corporation, the losses would certainly be astronomical figures..

But Dominick showed no extra expression. “Lola’s more important than the losses.

“For her, I can do anything.” Dominick pulled the pot of flowers in front of him, carefully watered them, and trimmed them.

Ethan sighed softly. He couldn’t believe he still kept this pot of flowers.

If Dominick had realized his own feelings earlier, perhaps there wouldn’t have been so many complications.

“Tomorrow, be on time. Many people will come, and you can come early…um… Layla will be at Marito Style two hours early to get ready.”

After saying that, Ethan turned and left.

Dominick was slightly stunned.

Then he smiled happily.

After spending so much time together, Ethan had already changed his attitude towards him.

But Ethan still held onto the idea of being good to Lola, so he would never openly set them up.

But Dominick felt that what Ethan was doing was considerate enough.

If Ethan dared to give him this information, it meant he trusted Dominick not to do anything to hurt Lola.

Their goals were the same. Dominick suddenly felt that he and Ethan were already friends.

As the weather approached early autumn, the heat diminished slightly. The gentle breeze carried the scent of unknown flowers, refreshing and soothing.

Outside the Lewis family’s castle, there were several tall oak trees, under which were parked more than a dozen luxury cars.

“Wishing Ms. Lewis a happy birthday!”

Jasmine and Mason greeted the repetitive blessings while the butler beside them received countless expensive gifts.

“Thank you, on behalf of Layla.” Jasmine was in a good mood, her smile never fading.

In order to protect Lola’s reputation and avoid criticism, the Lewis family decided not to mention the fact that Lola had been lost and found again.

So today’s welcoming banquet was designated as a birthday party.

Although the blessing words were different, the significance of inviting more people to celebrate and bless her was the same.

This was also an unwritten rule here. For Lola, who had just returned, having more people to bless her at the party could suppress the misfortune of the past decade or so.

“By the way, Mr. Lewis, Mrs. Lewis, where is Ms. Lewis? Where is she?” Someone couldn’t help but ask when they hadn’t seen her for a long

time.

“Ms. Lewis, how about this dress? This strapless gown is adorned with top–notch diamonds and is very luxurious. As a princess like you, you should wear this kind of dress to look stunning.”

The sales clerk brought out another gown to introduce.

Lola glanced at the maid next to her, trying to seek her opinion.

Tina was about the same age as Lola, the daughter of the family’s old butler. Jasmine had specially hired her to accompany Lola at a high

salary.

Supporting her chin, Tina pondered seriously for a moment before nodding. “I think it looks better than the red one just now. Ms. Lewis, you are already very beautiful, so clothes with too intense colors may not be suitable. But this white one is fresh and elegant, which fits your

temperament.”

Lola and Tina came to Marito Style together. This was the Lewis family’s private styling shop.

“That’ll do,” Lola said, not particularly picky about the clothes as long as they weren’t too flashy.

She wasn’t particularly fond of the party herself, but Jasmine’s enthusiasm in preparing made it hard for her to dampen the mood.

“Ms. Lewis, you have changed a lot. You are now so obedient and approachable,” the sales clerk couldn’t help but comment. RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

Then, realizing her words might have been inappropriate, she apologized with panic, “I’m sorry, Ms. Lewis. I didn’t mean to imply you weren’t good before. I’m sorry!”

Lola was slightly puzzled. She wondered wasn’t she in a coma for over a decade?

What did the clerk mean by that?

“You’ve seen me before, haven’t you? How long ago was that?” Lola asked seriously.

This question stumped the clerk directly. Just a month ago, Layla was a frequent visitor to the store.

She always seemed impatient when choosing clothes, getting irritable at the slightest dissatisfaction.

So, the staff members were always very afraid when they saw Layla.

But today, Layla asked such a strange question, and her temperament had changed so much that the staff were completely bewildered.

“What nonsense are you talking about? You must be mistaken. Ms. Lewis has never been herel Alright, hurry up and prepare the clothes. Time is running out!” Tina suddenly spoke coldly.

Before Lola could clarify, Tina left with several bewildered staff.

“Be careful with your words from now on. Ms. Lewis is ill and has some memory loss. Mr. Lewis and Mrs. Lewis have said that if anyone brings

up inappropriate topics in front of the princess, the consequences won’t be something you can handle.”

Tina looked at them coldly, completely different from the naive and cute girl just now!

She had a strong, threatening demeanor, making the staff not dare to say anything.

“Understood?”

“Yes…yes, understood!”

Lola became more convinced of her suspicions.

Every detail, every strange conversation, seemed to confirm her suspicions.

She thought it couldn’t be just a simple fainting for over a decade.

But even if Scott deceived her, her parents had no reason to deceive her. She wondered what could this be about.

Lola was full of doubts, but she managed to conceal them before Tina came out.

“Tina, where did you go? Are you hiding something from me?”

A hint of awkwardness showed on Tina’s face, and she quickly shook her head. “No, why would I hide anything from you?

“I just went to teach those employees a lesson. They dared to spread rumors about you.

“Ms. Lewis, please change into the dress. The party is about to start.”

Lola didn’t ask any further, eyeing the strapless dress in Tina’s hand.

“Change it.”

Suddenly, a deep and pleasant male voice came from behind.

Lola turned back in surprise, locking eyes with his beautiful and deep gaze.

At that moment of turning, it was like the first time they had met when Lola was looking back under the tree.

Except that year, Lola’s eyes were red from crying, filled with grievances and hardships.

Now those eyes seemed to be clear and beautiful.
