Chapter 6022 - 6022, World Change

Chapter 6022, World Change
Author: Silavin

“Argh! I can’t tear through Space here. The Space Principals are strange. They aren’t the same!” Yang Ji cursed as he tried to gain some distance from the black spikes.

For the twins, they had no small number of adventures with their Family to different Universe Worlds and Small Universes. However, such places all have the same World Principles within them. The World Principals here were too different from the outside world. In fact, mastery over the certain Principals outside need not necessarily mean one would be capable of manipulating Principals inside this place.

Once Yang Xu heard what he said, she was quick to react. Still on her Brother, she took out another pair of Crystals and caused another explosion.

Everything around them turned into a white flash once more, and the spike chasing after them disintegrated into white.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

Then again, since this has happened once, the twins were certain this would happen again. Even if they had mountains of Crystals, if they kept this up, eventually they would run out. The best was for them to retreat back outside. However, would this strange place allow them to?

The world, seeming to have acknowledged that such means were too minor to handle the children, began to change tactics. The landscape itself started to shift, with mountains and rivers bendings and twisting.

The landmass below them started to rise in one direction. Their form no longer seemed solid, changing to something more fluid. Rivers and earth mixed into one, indistinguishable from each other. They raised to form a tsunami, wishing to engulf the two.

The twins were naturally alarmed by this.

Yang Ji and Yang Xu both braced for the incoming attack. Without speaking, Yang Ji took out an Array Plate while Yang Xu took out more Crystals.

With a little bit of Qi inserted into the Array Plate, it began to spin and eight flags shot out. They each covered a cardinal and ordinal direction. A translucent sphere of around 9 metres in radius formed, enveloping the twins.

Meanwhile, Yang Xu was prepared to launch another Purifying Light once the tsunami got close enough.

However before they did anything else, the whole tsunami seemed to freeze in place and a voice came from above, at its crest. The voice was neither booming nor threatening. It was more calm and collected.

“Stop. We do not wish to fight.”

Yang Ji and Yang Xu naturally looked up to see a few figures gathered at the crest. These figures certainly did not seem Human. They were Humanoid, but certainly not Humans. Some had more arms, some had longer limbs, some even had carpaces as skin.

Regardless, there was a particular figure that stood out amongst the rest. This figure definitely emitted more pressure than the rest. In terms of his aura alone, Yang Xu and Yang Ji were certain they could not best him. That was just how overwhelming his aura was.

[Isn’t he in the Emperor Realm? No, maybe the Dao Seal Realm?] Yang Ji and Yang Xu both thought. After all, they would be able to tell a person’s cultivation if they were weaker than them. Anyone Stronger had to be above the Dao Source Realm. However, this person’s aura was not overwhelming to the point of reaching the Open Heaven Realm. Then again, who knows if this figure was suppressing his cultivation?

From afar, the figure held out his fist, as an indication for his men to stop moving. He knew that if the weak were to get involved in this, their deaths would be fruitless. Such a time had long passed when the weak were used as useless cannon fodder. Now, they served a greater purpose.

Furthermore, he was personally confident in his own strength, which would be able to suppress the two children. Thus, he went down alone.

From the crest of the tsunami, he leaped down and stopped directly in front of the twins. Naturally, they both had their guards up, with Yang Xu already prepared to unleash Purifying Light.

This light used to haunt his armies in the past. Yet now, it was just a reminiscent scene. He repeated his words. “We are not looking to fight against you. Lay down your arms.”

Naturally, how could Yang Ji and Yang Xu possibly comply? If they did, they would be helpless chickens. Instead, their grips tightened on the objects they were holding.

Seeing this, the figure sighed and added. “I see that there is no helping your need for caution. In that case, I just ask that you do not unleash Purifying Light here. I am Mo Na Ye, and I believe you are the children of Yang Kai.”

Once the twins heard his name, they reeled back. Of course they would. This was the Black Ink Clansman, the Royal Lord, their Father had praised numerous times in the past. Though they were enemies, there was a sense of respect for each other as soldiers on the battlefield.

Their Father had highlighted how out of all the Royal Lords, no, Black Ink Clansmen, Mo Na Ye was special in his eyes. He was the only one with wit, cunningness and bravery. Every one of their battles were always fights inches away from death. How, like their Father, Mo Na Ye had climbed through the ranks of originally being a Territory Lord to Pseudo-Royal Lord to an actual Royal Lord. How he was the first and only to accomplish such a feat.

Though enemies, they might actually share more similarities than differences. It was just unfortunate that they never had a moment of peace to really get to know one another. Other than crossing blades, possibly, that exchange of drinks at No-Return Pass marked their only time to get to know one another.

The twins naturally heard of his eventual fate. It made it all the stranger how Mo Na Ye was currently here, still alive! Furthermore, he knew who they were!

They questioned their ears if they heard wrongly. But, his next words confirmed that this was reality.

“Yang kids, the battle against your world and the Black Ink Clan has ceased for thousands of years. Why have you come to our land?” Mo Na Ye questioned. It was not in an overbearing manner or anything. Just an actual question that showcased his curiosity.

Yang Ji and Yang Xu hesitated to explain. After all, the reason why they were here had something to do with their Uncle Eleven. They did not know if sharing this information with the enemy would be a detriment to the overall cause.

Seeing how the children were not speaking up, Mo Na Ye just shrugged and moved on from the topic. Although he did want to know, at this point, it was not truly necessary. These children would not really amount to much in a battle, and if anyone stronger crosses the gate, he would be alerted of it. Currently, no such thing had occurred so he was assured they did not exactly come with hostile intentions either. If anything, he already had a faint guess as the Holy One’s other half was detected at the gate.

To show his intentions first for them to let down their guard, he confessed. “Nothing good will come of starting a war again, much less doing harm to the children of Yang Kai. Your Father is basically the best guarantor you have so no need to be so wary.”

Yang Ji and Yang Xu thought for a moment, and realised this to be reasonable. However, Yang Xu realised the contradiction. She got off her Brother and moved in front of him, directly questioning, “Then, why did you kidnap us?”
