Mate to a king

Chapter 26

Chapter 26

~4 weeks later~

Bloom.

Today's the day many little girls fantasize about.

Marrying a King and becoming a Queen. Well, this is more than a dream. The actual reality is harsh but more of a dream than a real dream.

I was actually marrying a King and I was already a Queen.

All the obstacles, issues even, that we had been through, we had been through together.

I couldn't have imagined anyone better as my second chance.

My nerves are literally shaking my body right now.

I am also about two months pregnant now. Only two left to go.

James couldn't be happier. Despite not seeing him over the last few days due to royal duties, that I was kind of a part of.

The planning didn't take to long either, the whole thing will be gorgeous.

As my Dad can't give me away, my older brother, who was coming back specially for the day, is going to instead.

Taking the place of the former rulers was hard, but this, this is on a whole different scale.

It can be hard, but at the same time, exciting, nerve wracking.

My mum and sister, who stayed around but didn't see me much, are helping me prepare my hair and makeup.

My mum will not stop bawling her eyes out.

Which is making me cry along with her.

"Hey. Mum stop crying it's okay. Plus I am ruining my make-up," I chuckled, wiping away my tears that I didn't even notice had begun to fall.

"I know Hun, I am just sad to see how much you have grown up. I missed a lot of time with you as a child and now this. I really can not help it." My mum sobbed, chuckling slightly to herself.

I sent her a sad smile before I walked towards my Brother who was standing in the doorway.

"You ready sis," He asked linking my left arm with his right.

"Ready as I could ever be I guess." I smiled.

~After the wedding~

I can't believe it.

It finally happened.

A few slight emotion falters but that's what is excepted.

My mum on the other hand wouldn't stop bawling all the time.

I couldn't help but laugh at her though.

She wouldn't let go of me when she eventually hugged me.

Now me and James were on our way to the plane to go away.

He still won't say a word about where we were going.

All I know is that it is a beach place somewhere far away.

I have been continuously asking him where we were going, him as always, not answering my pleas.
