“Why is one of the Seven Fiends here? Shadow Two asked darkly.
“I heard that the Wyatt family is no longer under the king’s protection Looks like it’s true.” The Hidden Fiend looked around with a teasing grin. “Over the years, plenty of powerful fighters attacked the Wyatt family, but they’ve never been able to step in because of that person who was protecting this place. Now, I’ve just walked in, and I’m still fine. It seems like he really has left.”
The Hidden Fiend smiled coldly.
“What did you say? King’s protection? People have been trying to attack this place? Delia was puzzled.
“He must be talking about one of the Shadows,” Amara whispered. “We have thieves vying for our treasure. Dad left behind the Shadows to protect us from the dark. That’s why we were safe. But Ductin shamelessly tried to claim credit for all of that since he didn’t know about the Shadows. He doesn’t know that I do, though,” Amara said mockingly.
Shadow Two was stunned because he knew that the Shadows had not been protecting the Wyatt family for the past few years.
So, who was the king who protected the Wyatt family?
“Hand over the treasure Lucas Wyatt left behind!” the Hidden Fiend demanded. “Or I’m going to kill all of your*
Lucas was their father and the head of the Wyatt family.
“You are so full of yourself. You’ll have to win against Shadow Two before making such demands!” Amara
said.
The Hidden Fiend scowled. In the next moment, he threw a hidden weapon and charged over.
Shadow Two smacked the hidden weapon on the floor again and stepped forward to stop him.
Both of them exchanged blows and then moved away. Their faces were dark.
By the looks of it, the Hidden Fiend was losing from their fierce exchange of blows.
“Are you part of the Shadows Lucas left behind?” the Hidden Fiend asked darkly. “Ha! News of the king’s departure has already spread, and other powerful people are getting restless. You won’t be able to protect the Wyatt family for much longer.”
With that said, he turned around to leave.
“Wait!” Amara cried out.
The Hidden Fiend stopped.
“I don’t know what treasure you’re talking about, but my father left all of his things to his student, Dustin Fox. If he did leave behind a treasure, then it’ll be with him,” Amara said.
“Dustin Fox? The Hidden Fiend scowled before looking closely at Amara.
Then, he left.
“That was an ingenious move to shift their attention away from us, Amaral Elisa immediately praised
Amara,
Amara chuckled.
“Dustin thinks he’s amazing, doesn’t he? He claims that the Wyatt family remained safe because he was fighting to protect us all this while. So, he should be the one dealing with an assassin. I’m just giving him what he wants.” Amara smiled softly. “Also, spread the word that Dustin inherited Dad’s legacy, including everything that he had while he was alive.”
The Wyatt sisters exchanged knowing glances.
In this way, anyone wanting to trouble the Wyatt family would first go after Dustin.
“Dustin, let’s see whether you can really get rid of every single problem that comes your way! Amara
hissed.
Shadow Two watched indifferently.
“Leave us, Shadow Two,” Amara said, NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
Shadow Two opened his mouth and coughed up some blood.
The sisters were shocked,
Shadow Two had lost to the Hidden Fiend?
“This means Dustin is done for!” Elisa rejoiced.
Shadow Two was at a loss for words.
Lucas had been such a wise man, so why did each of his daughters seem more foolish than the last?
