Chapter 92
Chapter 92
It was all Celeste’s fault, that unlucky brat. If it wasn’t for her, none of this mess would’ve happened.
“I was hoping to meet Ms. Garcia tonight, but I guess that’s not gonna happen. I heard she was sent to the hospital.”
Kaylee thought for a moment and said, “The hotel’s keeping it hush-hush, probably at the Garcia family’s request. Let’s not spread rumors.” She hoped to make it through the night without Liam finding out, and she’d deny it to her dying breath.
Seeing her say that, everyone dropped the subject.
Trisha had just finished editing her manuscript and had barely laid down when her phone rang.
It was a strange number, so she thought it was a delivery and answered. But the voice on the other end made her jump out of bed.
“Where’s Celeste?”
“What…what do you want now?”
Once bitten, twice shy Hearing Liam’s voice, she got stressed out now.
Liam repeated, “Where’s Celeste?”
Trisha, both resentful and timid, whispered, “Didn’t she go to some party with you?”
“She didn’t show up, and she’s not answering her phone.”
What’s it got to do with me? Maybe she just doesn’t want to answer your call! Trisha thought.
Having seen Liam’s ruthless side, Trisha didn’t dare say that. She tentatively whispered, “Should I give her a call?”
“Thanks” Liam finally spoke something appropriate for once.
Trisha then tried to contact Celeste, but just like with Liam, Celeste’s phone went through, but nobody answered.
Liam’s brow furrowed deeper, and he hung up without a word.
At that moment, Nicolas came over, hooked his arm around Liam’s shoulder, and whispered, “Mason’s here. Let’s go meet his little girlfriend.”
Liam pushed his hand away. “Go yourself.”
Nicolas snatched his phone. “Celeste’s a grown woman who’s alive and kicking. She can’t be lost, can she? Let’s tease Mason first, and 111 help you find her later.”
Without waiting for a reply, he hooked Liam’s shoulder and dragged him away.
Celeste came out after washing up and changed into the dress the hotel attendant brought.
It was a white off-the-shoulder fishtail dress with a slit, simple yet formal, gentle and appropriate.
When Celeste left the room, Mason was waiting for her in the hallway.
Hearing the sound, he looked up.
Celeste had a well-proportioned physique and a distinctive appearance, so she looked amazing in anything. With some careful dressing up, she was absolutely dazzling.
Mason was a bit stunned.
Celeste walked over and whispered, “Is this dress expensive?”
Mason’s eyes were full of smiles, and he lowered his voice, “The hotel manager gave it. He said it’s to thank you for your heroic act
Celeste’s eyes widened, “Is he that generous?”
Mason chuckled softly, “You saved a life. Otherwise, he’d have to take a huge responsibility. A dress is nothing. Don’t worry about it.” All content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
“Okay, thanks a lot.”
Nicolas and Liam walked to the front hall and saw Mason supporting a girl with an amazing figure, laughing as they walked toward the center of the venue.
There were many people, and the lighting was dim, so they couldn’t see the girl’s face clearly from a distance. But her tall figure and sexy curves were obvious at a glance.
Nicolas squinted and said, “Didn’t expect Mason to like sexy girls. I thought he liked the pure ones.” He elbowed Liam teasingly, “He’s got taste like you.”
Liam glared at him but didn’t say anything. His gaze swept over the girl, feeling a sense of déjà vu.

“Let’s go and check her out up close.”
With that, Nicolas pulled Liam’s arm and followed.
Celeste had been helped by Mason several times, and her initial psychological defenses had gradually faded. She thought for a moment and decided to tell Mason her real name because they would need to
stay in contact for future lawsuits. It would be embarrassing if she were exposed later, so she might as well come clean now.
