Ares POV

-4 Weeks Later-

It's been about four weeks since Athena and Elise had their little playdate for the children including Maya and Selene and today Eros and I were now in the middle of trying to plan. Plan for what you ask? Why a child free weekend of course. Our parents having agreed to take the children away for the weekend to allow Athena time to herself.

Allowing her the chance to do whatever it was that she had wanted to do while Eros and I silently planned for her upcoming surprise birthday that was less than a couple of days away, and our beautiful Luna was finally turning 20 and ultimately deserved the best birthday in the whole entire world.

'What kind of party do you think we should give mate?' asks Zeus from within my mind, knowing that Athena deserved this and much more.

'Not sure yet, but if we had it our way it would be filled with love and surrounded by people she knew and loved' I admit, not wanting to over stimulate her but knowing that a small celebration would be a must after announcing it to the pack that their Luna was having a birthday.

Yet I also knew that we couldn't just have her to ourselves either. No, for then it wouldn't be considered fair to the pack if they couldn't see their Luna so the thought of having two parties began to cross my mind instead.

Unable to contain my excitement I don't begin to realize that I'm smiling like an idiot until a voice moves to speak up. A deep voice as it slowly draws me from my thoughts. "What has you smiling like an idiot?"

Shifting my gaze I can't help but notice Kai, my Beta as he moves to stand in front of me. Eros and I over at the pack house to keep Athena from catching onto our plans.This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

"I'm thinking" I growl, not happy that Kai interrupted my thoughts. A smirk gracing his features as he did.

"Does it involve the Luna?" asks Kai knowingly.

""Yes" I mumble, his smirk growing.

"I knew it. You and Eros only ever get like that when it involves Athena. Anyone else and your all business" admits Kai, his body leaning against the door frame as he watches me, his eyes never leaving mine as I silently sit over at the desk.

"You know what, shut it. Besides you shouldn't talk either, you're exactly like that with Lucas" I taunt, knowing he had no room to bullshit

me even if he wanted to.

"Never said that I wasn't but when it comes down to the both of you it's clear as day to who you're thinking about" replies Kai, his smirk

still there even as he moves to approach me.

"Gee thanks" I grunt, my eyes now back towards my desk, having been going over papers in the process as Kai finally comes over to see what it was that I was doing.

"So what's all this about?" asks Kai, his body moving to sit down in front of his Alpha.

"These? Why there papers for the remodel that we plan to do for the pack house, remember? Remember with all of us having individual housing now there's no room for housing within the pack house any longer so the goal is to convert it for guests when they come and visit" I admit, remembering that as the original goal back when we were showing Athena our new home just 10 miles out.

"Oh, right. Now I remember"

Itolling my eyes, I continue to look over all the necessary paperwork only to sigh. Kai watching me as he does. Concern etched along his face before he finally moves to speak up.

"Something the matter?"

"What? No. I was just wondering if mom and dad had already gone to collect the children yet. As they promised us to give Athena a weekend without children, to allow her the freedom that she needed to relax or to do whatever it was that she wanted to do prior to Emma and Emily taking her on a shopping spree for her birthday."

"Shopping spree? Again? Didn't Elise and Cara just already have a girls day over in the Capital with her? Now it's Emma and Emily?" remarks Kai, confusion etched along his features as he tries to understand the urge to shop.

"Yes, but for totally different reasons. Emma and Emily are doing it as a birthday surprise for her. As I've asked them to pamper her, to give her a complete and utter makeover as one of her birthday gifts from us." Groaning, Kai begins to worry for his Luna. "I better send Lucas with them just to make sure that they don't overdo it."

Blinking at his words I'm about to ask him why only to feel a sudden wave of arousal hit me, as if Athena was calling out to me, to us, Zeus now pacing with the need to be close to her all of sudden.

"Actually, hold that thought" I growled, deciding to go see what my little mate was now up too.

"Athena darling, what are you doing?' I ask her through the mate bond, another wave of arousal hitting us.

'Mmm, why don't you and Zeus come find out,' purrs Athena as if she was scheming.

Growling softly, I move to stand up the need to know now rising as I move to stalk out of the office that Kai and I were just sitting in, the need to find Athena more important than chatting about birthdays and remodels. 'Mates being naughty' purrs Zeus, apparently aroused by what it was she was doing.

'Clearly' I groaned to him, glancing at Kai from over my shoulder before speaking, "Don't worry about pack details for now. I won't be back till later, much later." Then with that said do I move to find my mate, my body dashing for the outside, leaving Kai to his own devices as I move to stalk my prey. My pretty little Queen.

Shifting forms, I move to let Zeus take over, his huge paws now beating along the ground as we move to let the mate bond guide us. Our body running into the trees as we began the hunt, excitement coursing through us as we did.

Author's Note: Hi everyone, just want to give a quick little shout out that while I am in the process of trying to complete Our Lyna, Our Mate I am aware that previous chapters do have many typo's as well as many "All Buts" but I just want to let people know that I don't always catch those right off the bat and while I do often triple check before posting they do still manage to slip past me once and while. So while I do appreciate the criticism/critique, just know that I do plan to go back at some point and repost chapters to fix or address certain mistakes that have appeared within all while hoping to make this story better for future readers as I am by means not perfect when it comes down to typing.
