Chapter 94
The entire pack was immediately gathered, shocked to see that humans had reached the side of their islands; they still had no idea how the veil they had used for decades had crumbled down, leaving them exposed to the outside world.
Elise and Hayden’s utmost concern right now was their people, the wounded being ushered back into the hospital, and helping with minor wounds.
As Elise passed by, the crowd of people thanked her for saving them, but she felt her heartstrings pull when she saw a small boy alone. The father she had saved was halfway through shock and had lost a lot of blood, rendering him unconscious. Her heart grew heavier with the loss of the whole pack.
She didn’t want Ethan to see her like this, bloodied from the battle, but her son had already witnessed it all, and her heart sank at how brave he was. Yet this was an eye-opener to what she had forgotten the outside world to be.
She took Ethan back to the place where she bathed him, and he immediately fell asleep for the day as she patted him down to sleep and prayed to the moon goddess Selene for the protection of her people.
She was more worried about Hayden; not even a minute after she healed him, he was back on his feet, dealing with the pack’s destruction and helping the wounded.
Luckily, the attack hadn’t made it past the first gate; only houses near the wall had been hit. Even though she begged Hayden to rest, he didn’t; he was their alpha first.
Only if he had known the utter terror she felt when she couldn’t hear him breathing and how much she felt in that moment, he was dying instead.
The guilt still spread, and she wondered if it was because of her that this place was found, if one of the humans had escaped and found a way in because of her carelessness, putting the pack in jeopardy.
She headed to Hayden’s study, where his betas sat around the table, having been hours; he was the key to their drive and motivation.

The moment he took in her lavender scent, he quickly adjourned the meeting and set everyone to their tasks, with all his men bowing as they left.
Jax slowed in his steps as he held Elise’s hands, whispering in a tone filled with gratitude. “Thank you, Luna,” he said as they departed from the palace, leaving Elise with Hayden alone.
His hair was still caked with blood, which made her heart s**ip a nervous beat, but that didn’t stop her from getting close to him.
She leaned on the table just like he did and intertwined their hands together. “You did good today: you and your men fought those people and saved our people,” she muttered h***ly. her voice still croaking from crying.
“You mean you did,” he called with a kiss to her temple. “You saved us; hell, you saved me, Angel,” he whispered.
Elise let out a shuddered breath as she held him tighter. “What you did today-I don’t want to ever see you in that position; you scared me. I don’t think I can live with myself if you’re gone because of me. So, promise me,” she muttered, peering up at Hayden, who met her gaze.
“I’m sorry, but I don’t think I can keep that promise, not when you are in danger; you are my first choice and will always be,” he whispered to Elise.
She released his hands, her body shaky with anxiety. She combed her hair away from her face, and the image of him lifeless on the floor still haunted her as her body trembled.
She felt Hayden’s arm wrap around her waist, kissing her softly on her shoulders. “Forgive me, angel,” he muttered to her ears.
How could she stay mad when he saved her life, when he thought of her before himself? “You almost died, Hayden, and if you did, a part of me would have gone with your because you are important. No more than that. You are mine,” she said to him.
Hayden stiffened, let go of her, his hands shaking as he touched her shoulders, and turned her until she faced him. Tears fell, and her eyes blurred.
“Don’t just use that word callously, Elise; you don’t know what that word does to me or what you do to me; you don’t know how selfish and hotheaded I can be when it comes to you, El,” he said to Elise, but she was far from joking.
She raised her hands to take his face in her palm. “I know that I’ve been unfair, making you wait for me for these last three years. You might not even feel half of what I feel right now, but-”
He scaled her lips with a kiss, pouring everything in his love and care for her into it, until Elise found it hard to breathe and her toes felt like they were on fire.
“F**k wait,” she moaned from his kisses down her neck. He held onto her hair, combing her hands, but stopped at the dried blood.
“You doni kotow what you do to me, angel, how much I burn for you, how I’d wait a millio
r you, and how much I want to taste you to fack you” he said, making Elise busi and her sades pool
*Asch as d like to see that, I very much want both of us to get clean first before you do the tasting. Alpha Blackwood” she muttered, earning a light laugh from Hayden, whose Tips were strenched in a grin
She didn’t want to think about anything right now, and neither did she want him to, they both needed a distraction and they were each other.
“Then lead the way, he whispered. She held his hands and led him out of the study and to his room, taking in his scent.
They beaded to the bathroom. The large room was filled with a sunken marbled bathtub, the size of a small pool, with steaming water.
Under the bright light, they faced each other. Elise pushed the hand of her gown off her body, letting it fall and pool at her ankles. She saw Hayden’s pupils dilate in response to her body.
He took it all in from her porcelain skin to her perky full breasts; his eyes trailed down to her toned stomach, evidence of her training from the past year; his eyes lowered to that V trail between her legs.
He could barely speak when she walked forward, loosening the buttons and zips of his pants and letting them fall. A gasp left her lips from the sheer size of him.
“You are gorgeous, exquisite, he muttered. perching a soft kiss on her shoulders. Elise’s cheeks reddened from their exposed bare bodies, and his lips tickled her sensitive skin.
But she held onto his hands and led him into the sunken tub. Their eyes never left each other. Elise reached for a bath oil and cloth, scrubbing both their upper bodies above the
water clean.
Hayden took sensual kisses from her skin, his lips tracing from her neck to her collarbone, a kiss on it, and her shuddering and another kiss on her breast had her biting back a moan.
“Ngh-Hayden agh-” she moaned.
“That right there, your voice sets me on fire; it does things to me,” he muttered. There was a lower set in the pool that he sat on, wrapping his arms around Elise’s waist and leading her to straddle him, but as she did, she felt a hard length touch her thighs.
“And do you know what you do to me. Hayden Blackwood-the dreams I’ve had of you, touching me. f** me?” she whispered, letting her tongue lick over hips and her breasts meshed to his chest. The feel of her hardened nipples felt like torture
“Tell me everything. I’ll make your dreams come true. I’ll f**k you till morning. I’ll leave you drenched in my seed and my tongue covered in your juices” he whispered with a darkContent provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

And with each word. Elise felt his hands reach between her thighs, his fingers pushing into her skirt, arousing her. She sputtered out incoherent words as his fingers thrust in deeper.
“I want you. Hayden, please” she begged. She couldn’t take this agonizing torture anymore. wanting to be f**d by him.
“Then angel, I’ll show you what you’ve been missing-how good I can take you, how good i can f*k you.”
“Then do it” she muttered as she felt his har**k close to her slit as his voice caused a shiver up her spine.
“Your wish is my command”
