Chapter 43
~REX’S POV~
Things are spiraling out of control. I need to flee the palace. Thankfully, the left-wing has been repaired. I need to get away from Juno before I unintentionally screw her. I haven’t visited my businesses in a very long time. Therefore, I might as well go out and see how people run my businesses. Marcus approached me as I was ready to enter my car.
“Your Majesty, the ball will be dropped in four days. People have already begun to work. I believe your brother will take advantage of this opportunity to infiltrate the facility. “Do you think we should go ahead with the ball? Personally, I think it’s not a good idea, my lord.”
I have no idea what Marcus is saying. My mind is a mess. I’m being tortured by Juno’s bare body. I’m unable to think clearly. I must flee from her and this palace. I wish I were human. Humans are not subjected to the same level of torment as animals.
“Did you hear what I said, Your Majesty?”
“Yes, yes, yes, proceed.”
His eyes widened in surprise. I stared at him, wanting to enquire whether everything was all right. Then Juno’s scent exploded on me like a tsunami. I jumped into my car and drove away. Yes, I ran away from my Reina because her Lycan seduced me and all I could think about was fucking her. Her scent is seductive. She oozes fucking fucking fucking fucking fucking. It looks like my cock is wrapped around her pouty lips every time she speaks. Things aren’t looking good for me right now. There is strife in paradise, and I am not going to win this battle. I believed I was strong, but it was a lie. Reina is significantly stronger than I am. In her presence, I am perpetually horny. I can’t even admire her buttocks without recalling how she wiggled her buttocks on my shaft that day. I pressed down on the accelerator. The man had forgotten that he needed to check on his businesses after lengthy travel. This was remarkable, given how little the man visited his businesses. He searches the world for the greatest candidates and recruits them to operate his businesses. He is tasked with the exclusive responsibility of reviewing the monthly reports. He stayed out of the way of the individuals he hired to run his businesses; he trusted their judgment. Although he maintains an office in each establishment,
The man lost his way and hurriedly parked his vehicle on the side of the road. He took a few deep breaths and then made his way to the Wolf Group International headquarters. Getting there, he came across as the most annoying individual.
“Hello!”
He didn’t say anything but stared at her with icy cold eyes. He didn’t want to do something dumb because the workers were humans and he didn’t want to scare them, but the female was starting to grate on his nerves. The guards were aware he was a very important individual. However, they were unaware of his job inside the corporation. Then another voice cut in.
“There you are. Were you instructed on how to fulfill your duties? ” To begin, would you kindly assist me in preparing coffee for Mr. Wolf? His office is the building’s final office.”
Rex was on the verge of yelling, but he stopped himself because he realized he was in front of humans who were completely unfamiliar with wolves. He went to his office through the private elevator. Janet would have to ascend the stairs to Rex’s office, as there is only one elevator. She will almost certainly arrive at his office with a cold cup of coffee, and the desire to impress will be futile. Rex makes his way to his office. The man’s only desire was to flee away from Juno. He had to decide whether to succumb to temptation or wait for her shift. She is only capable of shifting during a full moon, not on her birthday like everyone else is. Due to the fact that she had been reincarnated, she would have to wait for a full moon. Perhaps we don’t need to wait for the full moon, as she is not a virgin. Why hadn’t I considered that? Is she going to be okay with it? Is Juno as taken with me as I am with her? Obviously not. Her fierce wolf.
Rex retrieved his laptop from one of the drawers and began perusing the reports that had been emailed to him. He heard a knock on his office door and pondered who it might be, given that he had not even alerted the CEO of his impending arrival. He touched a button to let the person knocking enter. Then Janet entered, her armpits stinking, most likely from climbing the steps to his office.
“Hello there, Mr. Wolf. It feels great to finally know your name.”
Rex simply looked at her and said nothing. She was also carrying a teapot and a cup of coffee. ” Please accept my apologies, Mr. Wolf. I was unsure of what you needed, so I brewed tea and coffee concurrently.” She grinned, which irritated Rex even more.NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
“I am not a coffee or tea drinker. I’m so sorry that you had to go through all this trouble.”
“Janet, Janet is my name.”
Rex didn’t even look her in the eye. Whoever directed her to prepare coffee for him was simply looking for an opportunity to punish her, as they are aware that there are two routes to reach his office: the stairs or the private elevator. Rex enjoys coffee and tea but was adamant about not drinking the tea prepared by the female in front of him.
“Would you kindly spare me some time for dinner or lunch, Mr. Wolf?”
Rex was so mad at this point. He was not in the presence of humans, and he was well aware that the girl in front of him was well aware that he was not a human. He gazed at her leg and shifted his head slightly, and suddenly Janet screamed and dropped the tea kettle and cup of coffee she was carrying. Then Rex locked his gaze on her while Janet shrieked in fear.
“Can you tell me what you’ve done to me?”
Rex merely wanted her to stop talking since she was causing him irritation, but she appeared to miss the message. He locked his gaze on her hand and cocked his head to the side, his gaze fixed on her palm. In his office, the sound of bones shattering could be heard reverberating. He was torturing her in his soundproof office. Nobody could help her. He rose from his chair and stuffed his hands into his slacks’ pockets. He began walking in the direction of the wailing girl. He sank to her level.
“You know, when someone does not wish to speak with you, you should refrain from pressing talks; you are not attractive to me. You are in no way closer to my Queen. You are nothing more than a power-hungry little mongrel. I am older than your great-grandfather; stay away from me at all costs; you never know what I might wreck next. Get the hell out!”
Janet muttered in astonishment and dragged herself outside.
