The Forgotten Luna (Adessa)

Chapter 60

LADESSA.

A drunk Kael was heavy to assist, but a pretending to be "too drunk," Kael was heavier.

He was surely having a great time throwing his weight on me as we walked down the corridor to our room while singing the same song he had sung to me the last time he was drunk.

"And it's you and me and all of the people. And I don't know why I can't keep my eyes off of you." He sang, off-tune of course, but I loved it more.

I hoped that song was meant specifically for me, as he had started singing it a few weeks prior to his accident. But as much as I wanted to believe that, it was also the time he began to feel a little more distant and the time that Desiree came back to the territory. "Kael, you're heavy," I mumbled.

"I thought you'd take care of me when I'm drunk." He replied, pausing from singing and pressing a kiss on my cheek.

"I said, take care of you, not carry you!" I feigned a scowl despite feeling giddy with the kiss. I still held his arm around my shoulders while my other arm snaked around his waist.

"Such a complaining wife I got," he chuckled, and in one swift motion, our positions changed.

He scooped me from the floor and immediately wrapped my arms and legs around him, giggling as he carried me toward our room.

"See, I have to carry you, and you're not even drunk, but I'm not complaining." He teased me.

"Well, Mister Alpha, you should stop pretending to be drunk just to grope me. Did you think I didn't notice you were taking advantage of me the whole night?" I teased back.

He chuckled heartily as we entered our bedroom. "I didn't see anything wrong with what I did. Besides, my wife seems to like it. And I'm here to do as you please."

I felt giddy at the attention he was giving me. I continued to giggle as he sat on the bed, with me perched on his lap. I let go of my arms around his neck before pushing him into the bed. He ended up lying down in the middle, arms spread out, and he began singing again. I got up from him and went to the window to close the curtains.

I saw Sasha by the front porch, smoking and checking her wristwatch. For some reason, her simple action made my heart thunder. Was she waiting for someone?

I shook my head, forcing any negative thoughts out of my mind. She would never place Kael in harm's way.

"Adessa..." Kael spoke.

"Hmmm..." I mumbled as I drew the curtains closed, but my gaze was fixed on him. He was still lying in bed, but his eyes were staring at the ceiling.

"Didn't I tell you not to roll your eyes at me? Not unless..."

"I can't help it!" I cut him off before he could put me on the spot again. "It's like she wants to pick me up and throw me far away from here." I was glad I was able to air that out, and I hoped he wouldn't defend her. "I would never let that happen."

"I know. You've been good there." I smiled, remembering how he was too intimate with me, even in her presence.

"Good, what? Friend? Alpha? Husband?" He asked, his expression stoic.

I bit my bottom lip before climbing onto the bed, positioning my knees and hands on the sides of his thighs and shoulders, caging his body. Then, I lowered my head, keeping it parallel to his. "Husband..."

"You're beautiful, Adessa." A smile slowly formed on his lips as his hand cupped my cheek, gently caressing it with his thumb while his eyes turned glassy.

"And you're drunk. Tomorrow, I'm back to the ugly Adessa,"

His forehead creased. "No. No, please don't tell me there was a point in our lives together when I told you you were ugly. Because that's impossible. I know beauty when I see one."

I giggled, lowered my head onto his chest, and put my whole weight on top of him.

He wrapped his arms around my

body and chuckled. "But I am sure I told you you were heavy because you are really heavy, and you are suffocating me now. I might die." He exaggerated. "But nothing is better

than dying in your arms."

I giggled more and louder this time. I then moved my head to nuzzle my nose against his neck. It was payback time for seducing me in front of Sasha.

"Adessa..." He groaned, and I felt something turning hard between us.

"Hmmm..." I mumbled as I began sucking his neck.

"Are you aware of what you're asking with that?"

"I don't know. Tell me." I teased him while still letting my lips savor him.

He grunted loudly before his hand gripped a fistful of my hair. His cock was fully hard, prodding against my front, but I ignored it as I continued sucking while moaning.

If Kael wanted sex, I was sure I wanted more. It was not a joke not having sex with him for many weeks when I was used to us doing the deed almost every day before his accident.

Even when we had arguments, we

would end up having wild sex. It

usually helped us to calm down and resolve our issues. And sometimes, I would infuriate him just so we could end up having makeup sex

"Aah!" I let out a shriek as my body unexpectedly turned over, landing on my back with Kael hovering above me.

A wicked grin tugged at his mouth before he licked his lips, but he didn't say anything. He was just looking at me as if he wanted to eat me right up.

I couldn't stop the arousal brewing within me. My pussy was throbbing, and my throat was turning dry.

I wanted him.

"Fuck me, Kael." I finally said it.Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.
