The Mafia’s Woman

Chapter 27 Blonde

Elsa wished she could run back to her apartment and sleep with her face pressed against the pillow. Lynda was kind of, right.

“We’re like two different people who may never fit in. Maybe Radon’s too much and truth be told I don’t even know what I am to him. Maybe one of his few playthings Elsa thought.

She couldn’t stop thinking about Lynda’s words. They were hurtful and insulting.

“Why did he choose to take you to the party?”

Elsa crossed her arms and let her go through every dress on each hanger and mannequins.

“You’re too cheap and not classy. Why don’t you date someone in your class?” She scoffs mockingly and picks out two dresses.

“Why do you care so much about who Radon sleeps with? I mean you’re just his employee and also a snitch.” Lynda pauses on her track and turns to look at Elsa.

“Maybe because I don’t like golddiggers like you.” She scowls, glaring at Elsa.

“I’m not a golddigger.” Elsa rolled her eyes.

“Nobody cares. We’ll need a lot of expensive things to cover up your bad tracks. Broke ass..” she chuckle and continues walking.

Elsa turns her back to the exit and walks out of the boutique. She might not be perfect and be weak but she won’t let anyone look down on her.

She hails a taxi and hops in. Elsa received a text from Radon asking her if she was okay but Elsa ignored him.

“Maybe he should stay away from me but he won’t listen. I don’t even wanna be around him either but something in me is always pushing me to him”. Elsa discussed with her mind.

Stopping right at her apartment, Elsa got out and paid the driver before entering her apartment.

.

” Why don’t you start talking. I don’t want to hurt you and I don’t feel like hurting you either. Why did your fuckin boss ask you to trail my movements and stalk me?” Radon asked the weirdo in front of him.

He whimpers and tries to break out from the chains on the chair he was sitting on. Radon have to cut out one of his fingers and he was still not talking. One bitchy movement and he’s gonna get his blood littered by Radon.

“I ain’t going to tell you shit, dickhead.” He groans.

“Eugene…” Radon snaps at Eugene as he collides his fist with the asshole. His head snaps to the side at the effect of the punch.

“Turn him upside down and let him gag for air after his blood must have leaked to his brain,” Radon said to Eugene as he walk out of the warehouse.

“Ready for the party?” Harden ask as they walked to Radon’s car.

“I should be sincere, I don’t feel like going. But it’s Kylo, I need to show up to please the fucker.”

“And you’re taking that nerdy girl as your date.”

“She’s not a nerd.” Radon scowled at Garden who was taken off guard by Radon’s sudden outburst.

He chuckles.” What do you see in her Radon?”

“A lot.”

“So, what’s that supposed to mean?”

“It means you’re going to take her out of your mouth and leave her alone. She’s not one of your slutty hookers.”

“You remember Dallas huh?”

“I’m a busy man Harden, I can’t just recognize every douchebag.”

” Yeah, I know. Your Uncle slashes your rival. He’s going to be there. Don’t scare your little doll cause anybody can pull any type of stunt. You don’t want to risk her safety.”

Radon sighed and stuck his hands in his front pocket.

“I’m going to be there. She’ll be fine.” Radon’s chauffeur drove in with his car as Radon got in with Harden.

.

“Lynda where’s she?” Radon asked.

“I don’t know. She was with me at the boutique and I couldn’t find her anymore. She just disappeared and didn’t tell me where she was going.”

Harden exchanged looks with Radon before picking up a cigar and a lighter.

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

” Boss I don’t know her whereabouts. It’s like… I don’t know what to say.” Lynda answered absent-mindedly

Radon pick up his phone from the coffee table and dialed Elsa’s number. She was not picking up the calls and Radon push back the urge to drive to her apartment and have a word with her.

“What did you tell her?” Radon asked after calling her several times and it was abortive.

“Nothing ..” Lynda lied but it’s just obvious.

“Lynn, what did you tell her?” Radon yelled at Lynda who seems unfazed.

” Woah, Woah, man take it easy on her. Lynda, did you tell her anything on not?”

“I told her nothing. I only did my job and she was being too nosy and rude.”

“Get out. If I find out you said shit to her, you’re losing your job.” Radon growled.

Lynda sighed and walk out.

“So you care so much about her ?”

“Man, shut up.”

“Radon…” That all too familiar voice walks into the living. “Good Lord, what’s she doing here?” Radon scoff.

“Look who decides to show up..”Harden said dragging non-stop on his cigar.

“Hi Harden, Hey babe.”

“Babe? Fuck me. How did I come to know her?” Radon growled.

“And I heard Tylo’s hosting a party tonight. Still dealing with shit with him?” She asked and drop her bag on the single couch.

“What are you doing here Michelle?”

“That’s rude Radon.” Michelle rolled her eyes.

“You’re supposed to be in New York with Sarah. Why the fuck are you here for?” Radon groaned.

“Darn it man, calm down!” Harden scoff.

“Sometimes you can be so annoying! Gross, I hate to call you best friend”

“Michelle, things aren’t so good for you to be coming to San Francisco and going out as much as you want”. Radon advised.

“Fuck man, I’m out of here” Michelle growled and calmed upstairs.

“Fuck face” Radon cursed.

Radon’s ringing phone distracted him from his thoughts and it was who he’d always wanted to talk to.

“Elsa, what happened?” Radon asked her on the phone.

“I missed your call earlier.” Her voice was faint on the phone.

“Where are you?”

“Home.”

Radon sighed and run his fingers through his hair. He can’t believe Lynda told her shit. If not for her expertise, Harden would get her fired at once.

“What happened? What did she say to you?” The background went silent for a few seconds.

“I’m sorry..” Radon said to her after waiting for her reply.

“I’m coming to pick you up.”

“Radon doesn’t. I’m fine just tired.”

“What about the party?”

“I’m gonna puke just being around people. What if I mess up? What if I’m not compatible with you?”

Radon groaned at the thought that he was right. Fuck Lynda. Why would she look down on herself every second? It’s crazy she’s the most beautiful girl he’s ever seen and he just can’t get tired of her.

“I’m sending my driver to come to pick you up and someone better who’s gonna shop for your clothes. Look I’m sorry. You should come over and let’s talk this over with.”Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

Elsa laughed on the phone.” You’re impossible Radon. I’ll be waiting.”

“Hope you’re okay with the press?”

” Wait, what? Really?” Elsa groans on the phone.

“I can’t handle the media. You’re popular and I don’t want to get myself involved.”

“So what do you suggest?” Radon asked and she remains silent on the phone.

“I don’t know. Whatever that makes you happy.” She heaves a deep breath and Radon wishes she was there with him. She drives him so fuckin Insane that he can’t resist.

“Thanks. Get ready he’s coming to get you.”

“Radon..” she called out after a few seconds.

“Yeah ?”

She giggles on the phone.

“Nevermind..” Elsa chuckles and hangs up.

Fuck. Did she have to?” Radon growled.

“You’re crushing on her? Radon you have to stop.”

“My dude, seriously, give me ten feet. Stop acting like the fuck face you’re.” Radon said.

“Whatever thing you’re planning man, you should quit. You can’t run summit with some random girl.”

Radon sighed and stare at the swimming pool through the transparent glass walls.

Random girl huh? Seriously!

“Finally I agreed again. As long as I’m still breathing maybe I can’t avoid Radon”. Elsa grinned.

A petite redhead dressed her up for the mystery party with different types of makeup brush kissing her face now and then. She decides on a light purple strap dress that drops mid-thighs and a killer glass stilettos.

Elsa feels different with a gold necklace and earrings. “Now I feel fake”. Elsa muttered to herself.

It’s a party for the rich, you have to dress rich to fit in. Elsa wanted to be her, not the silly wears that are gonna return to the closet after the party.

“They are all yours. You’re keeping them.” The dresser said with her obvious Philippine accent.

Elsa watched her replace her black colored hair with a blonde wig. She slightly brushes the wave and finishes her makeup.

“All done.” She squeals turning her swivel chair to look at the mirror.

“No way.”

“Yes way, babe. I’m a genius.” Elsa watches the redhead through the mirror as she smiles.

She looked different. Like some supermodel “Is this what you look like when a stylist addresses you up?” She blushed.

Someone else stare right back at her and that someone was so beautiful. The blonde wig fits her almost tan olive skin and she looks beautiful. Elsa knew she look beautiful but then this new Blondie that was staring right back at me is different.
