Chapter 126
The work there is over, Emma Johnson finished packing her bags, ready to leave. As she is carrying her bags out of her hotel room, she runs into Ethan Carter and Olivia Brooks, who have also just left the room. "Emma, are you going back too?" Olivia inquired with her stunning almond eyes.
Emma swept her a cold look and nodded slightly. The work was indeed over, and staying here would be a waste of time.
"It's just as well they're leg, let's go together." Ethan said forcefully.
Emma was extremely upset, she didn't want to be ordered around, and she didn't want to go
back with them. She isMaterial © of NôvelDrama.Org.
wanted to get away from them.
"Mr. Carter, no, Olivia has already booked the high speed train tickets, there's no need to bother us." She politely declined Ethan's offer.
Rather than walk back by herself, Emma would rather be with the two of them.
"Emma doesn't have anything to do anyway, why don't you just go back with them." Olivia agreed in front of Ethan.
A flash of disgust flashed through Emma's mind, Olivia's hypocrisy made her sick to
her stomach.
"No." Emma said stubbornly, carrying her bags outside, Ethan's face darkened slightly.
As soon as she was down the stairs, there were footsteps behind her, and Emma turned. around to see Ethan walking towards her with no expression on his face. He grabbed the suitcase from her hand, opened the trunk of the car, and quickly stuffed the luggage inside.
It was such a smooth and quick sequence of movements that Emma froze for a moment, and Olivia looked on incredulously, not expecting Ethan to do this.
She clenched her teeth, and a trace of disgust flashed across her face. Olivia already suspected that Emma was trying to seduce Ethan, but now her misunderstanding and Three Years to Love
suspicion had deepened, and from what she had known of Ethan for years, he would never change suddenly.
"Ethan, he already said he doesn't need me to send him back, he can go back by himself." Emma frowned, grumbling in her tone.
Ethan had made the decision for himself without even saying hello, and Emma felt that he didn't respect her.
"Get in the car." Ethan ordered, looking coldly at Emma.
Olivia prayed that Em
uldn't get in the car, she didn't want her time with Ethan
to be interrupted by Emma being a light bulb.
Ethan didn't seem to stop until he got what he wanted, and Emma couldn't resist, so she got into the car, after all, her luggage had already been stuffed into the car by the
man.
Olivia watched as Emma walked towards the car, her heart filled with resentment. She held back her resentment and pulled the passenger door open and got in as if she were the Carter's young lady.
The atmosphere outside the car became awkward, and Emma's heart was in turmoil as she pretended to focus on the scenery outside the window, staring out at it as it flew by.
"Ethan, the other day he was talking to his friend, he found a nice place, why don't we go there together next month, to relax." Olivia was the first to speak, breaking the silence.
"Let's talk about it then." Ethan didn't give a clear answer, which made Olivia even more dissatisfied.
She hadn't wanted to appear so out of character in front of Emma, but she hadn't realized that Ethan wasn't giving her any face at all.
