Winning Her Heart Again

Chapter 47: Property?

Chapter 47: Property?

Damn that jerk. I looked at Paul, but he just chuckled and let go of my hand.

"Common, we're just talking," he said and followed Travis, never failing to wink at me. I shook my head in amusement. He's really something else.

"I'm not talking to you," Travis said. My brow furrowed. What's wrong with him?

"You are being too serious," Paul said in a casual voice while he placed both of his hands in his pocket.

"Back off. You should mind your own business," he said in a firm voice. I saw him glancing at me, which made Paul look at me and sarcastically chuckle.

I don't know what is wrong with them. All I can see is that Travis is so mad now. Oh, he's always mad. I grinned in my mind. What's new? He's always like this around me and Paul.

"Oh, you mean her as your business? She's not your property anymore. " Paul pointed his finger to me. I frowned. I'm not a fucking property! And why the hell were they talking like that in front of me? Suddenly, Travis held his collar and made me stand up immediately. What the heck is wrong with both of them?

"Travis!" I warned, but he didn't stop or even look at me. Damn it, I cursed inside my head. This material belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

"What is wrong with them?"

"Is that sir Travis? And Sir Paul?"

"What's happening to them?"

They start to look at them while Travis is still holding Paul's collar.

"Enough. What is wrong with both of you?" I tried to grab Paul from him, but he wouldn't let go.

"Travis?" I heard Stacy say and run in our direction.

Travis immediately let go of Paul, and there I realized one thing. There's no time or day that he listened to me. I knew he didn't care about my words.

"What's happening here?!' Stacy went In Front of him while she's now looking at me furiously like it was my fault.

"Shut your mouth, Stacy, and stop shouting at her." Paul suddenly placed me at his back as if he were protecting me.

This is the first time that someone defended me in this kind of situation.

"Now you can hear how rude your cousin is," she looked at Travis, but he didn't answer her; instead, he looked at me with those cold eyes. "Stop pretending like a saint Stacy I know you." Paul said, and I don't know what they are talking about. I just wanted to leave this place now. "How dare you!" Stacy was about to slap Paul.

"Enough!" Travis said in a firm voice that scared her. He then grabbed Stacy's hand and pulled her away, making it difficult to run because of the hills. "And what with that?" I asked Paul while he was fixing his clothes. He sighs and smiles at me.

"Do I still look handsome?" He fixed his hair and even took a posture that made me chuckle. Instead of getting angry, he was just chilling out.

"I'm sorry about my cousin; he's really bad-tempered," he chuckled, and that made me hit him on his shoulder.

"Enough with your silliness; just help me out," I told him, and we started to put the necessary things in their respective areas.

We also help others to place the designs on the stage.

On the other hand, I could see Travis watching us. I just didn't care and just continued what we were doing. That's what he wants me to do.

"Let's take a break?" Paul said while wiping his sweat. I just laughed because his hair is all messed up now.

"You look stressed right now." I sat on the chair and told everyone to rest in the meantime.

"What's important is I'm still handsome," he said. I just rolled my eyes when he winked at me. Is he not getting tired of doing that?

"Oh, here it is," he said, looking at my back. I saw a deliveryman walking towards us, holding a bunch of pizza and drinks.

"You ordered?" I asked him, and he nodded while helping the delivery man. He's not just a jolly person; he's also kind. After he helped the delivery man, he also gave him a tip.

"I was impressed," I said, and he looked like he heard something that caught his attention, smiling like crazy.

"That means I have an additional

point," he jokes, but I just shake my

head and grin widely. He also called others to eat in the meantime because we were all tired of designing this place.

'Thank you, sir I wish I could meet someone like you-a kind and handsome man," one of my staff members said. Paul smiled and

gave her a thumbs-up, which meant he agreed with what my staff members said.

"She's right. Aside from being handsome, you're also kind to people like us, sir. I salute you," the other said, admiring his kindness.

"Actually, I've been working for years, and Ma'am Jaz and you, sir Paul, were the only ones doing this," Mr. Jong said while chewing his pizza.

I smiled while looking at their happy faces. They are working hard, and I remember my old self.

Actually, I am happy, and I admire them for being strong and brave.

"You're showering me with compliments; now I decided that every time I come here, I'll buy you your snacks." He said in an assurance.

I looked at him, but he just smiled. It's not her responsibility to do that, and it's not his responsibility to help us either. It's just that he had a good heart, and helping us here is enough for us.

"Thank you, sir, but we don't want you to spoil us. You're helping with the hard work here, and that's enough for us," one of the staff members said.

"Well, I just want you guys to be inspired. That's why I'm showing here so you can take a look. With my handsome face," he confidently said, which made everyone laugh.

He really likes making lame jokes, just like what he said, but it's true. He's handsome and kind, but aside from that, he's also a womanizer.

Well, boys are boys. I don't even know if this is also part of his courting that he's saying before or just having fun being here.

"Aside from that, I also want to see her beauty," he smiled at me.
